XP DEUS II Metal Detector Unboxing + First Beach Treasure Hunt! | Settings and Lessons Learned

Unboxing Treasures: XP Deus II Revealed - In this video, I unboxed, dialed in, and went for three short metal detecting adventures to find lost treasure using my brand new metal detector - the mighty XP Deus II! This amazing metal detector proved itself very quickly - I discovered silver rings, chains, and other surprising goodies.
Join me on my first 3 treasure hunts with the machine. I hunted for treasure at two of my favorite South Florida beaches and explored a new beach as well. I reviewed all of the settings used on the detector, and explained how to modify them to be most effective on the beach - both in the dry and wet sand.
I found many coins, trinkets and even uncovered some 925 silver (A ring and an antique cross). I also discovered a KIA key fob and tried to return that, but had no luck so far.
My birthday is on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) and I received this awesome detector as an early birthday present. My configuration of this detector on the beaches was used Remote Control Unit (RC), 11" coil and Extra Large headphones.
So far, I'm in love with this detector! Come along with me on this adventure to discover the intricacies and strengths of the XP Deus II Metal Detector.

Thanks for the SUB and you are correct.... I absolutely LOVE the Deus II.... she's been good to me so far. Gonna take her underwater soon too now that the ocean is calming down. Additionally, thrilled how it finds targets so deep - will be spending time on the treasure coast also this summer. And finally, love how it breaks down quickly and easily into my backpack for traveling. Looks like you travel with it also - that's awesome.

I just got my Deus 2 and wondering is the wireless antenna required to be used at the beach, or just if the coil is submerged in water.

Hi there, and thanks for watching. The Deus 2 RC (Remote Control) unit, and the WS6 both connect wirelessly to the coil. The RC is waterproof as well. There is no need to use the antenna unless the coil is submerged more than about 6 inches of water. Saltwater blocks the wireless signals, and the antenna wire assists with bringing the signals back to the RC and/or the WS6 unit. I tend to keep my antenna on, just because it is not getting in my way at the moment. I will be getting a new carbon fiber shaft in the near future and will feed the wire through that. Then, I'll use the RC on that shaft, and use it primarily for the water. I'll keep the WS6 unit separately on the other shaft and use that primarily on the land. Hope that helps. Cheers, Howie.
