Very nice setup works great, save £££ remember the brains are in the coil, the controller is only a dashboard layout display for information that's all.👍🏻

Excellent video! The only thing you forgot to mention, was that if you press simultaneously on the right two buttons, it will take you to the large numbers.

Great video with very clear explanations. There are three other things you can't do compared to the Deus 2 RC using V0.71 software......Notch cannot be turned OFF, no expert mode for Notch so only able to set one notch not three like on the Deus 2 RC, you can only save one user profile per factory program unlike Deus 2 RC where I could save 10 programs based on say FMF Fast. I hope XP will at least make the Notch feature the same as the Deus 2 RC in a future update. I agree about the X/Y screen. It would be cool to have it but without a backlight for the WS6, the X/Y screen would be really hard to see. I have an old Quest 2.4 gHz transmitter plugged into my WS6 with horseshoe adapter on the stem so I can use the wireless Quest over the ear headphones without being tethered and I can easily see the WS6 screen for USA coin and jewelry hunting. When I am gold prospecting/relic hunting I put the WS6 puck in the receiver on the same wireless Quest headphones. Other than those missing Notch features, the WS6 is an amazing little detector controller.

I knew there was another thing I missed. As we don’t use notch in the U.K. as you’ll miss tiny hammered coins. I forget it’s even there. Because you can’t name programs they have left it 1 per base program. Otherwise you’ll have 1,2,3,4,4,4,4,4,4,5, that could confuse things a bit. Thank you for the comment and good luck. Chris

The puck is updated on its own. So you don’t need the RC to update.

Yeah I know that, but I'm just thinking I hope XP doesn't concentrate on the remote years down the line and there's hardly any updates for the Puck, because we know what they are like.. they are money grabbers.. 🤑

Yes. Same depth and same speed. You dont even need the RC to update like you did with the Deus 1.

Yes pinpoint button is if you hold the RED hot key down for 2 secs. And an all metal mode could be created or just use Sensi FT.
