Have had my latest almost new Deus and 9ins HF coil for about 4 months now, had the standard 9ins coil before. Hard to actually know if I am finding MORE than previously, but plenty coming up anyway. I need to set up some special progs asap, so Gary's videos are so very useful as you know you are getting the right advice from the right person, Liam

I have 3 coils and us the HF exclusively... Awesome on small gold, dug 3 chains and 2 bracelets that my old DFX won’t even register

I’m new to detecting and have bought a Deus lite with a HF coil. Should I be setting the frequency higher, or leave at 14???

I’ve had nothing but trouble with my HF coil it dose not start up how it should, also pics up my hand and I’m not wearing any thing metal on my hand either, also constantly the light is flashing on and off fast, not how it should be, and I’ve had other coils before that have been fine, I also have the headphones and they keep freezing when trying to go though the programs, and another thing it’s not very deep at all it’s just not right, when I hold my old deus up in the air so it can balance it’s self, it’s fine dose the blinking then ready to go, with his, it’s just fucking mental ! Don’t stop blinking, I’ve sent it back and apparently it was a faulty battery the new ones there’s been a few come back to be replaced like mine has been, and they sent it back, and guess what? Same shit same problem not bloody working, what did they do get the coil and send it back again with out looking at it, it’s like they have not even tested it, it’s really pissed me of as you can tell, I buy a detector that’s should be top of the line and it should work no problem and with no hassle, and now yet again going to have to send it off, what the fuck is going on, I’m a bricklayer if I did my job in this way I’d be sacked, sort it out people you should be professionals.

Had problems with the connectors yet for the battery, seems to be a problem on mine, so temperamental and won’t calibrate at all, and loads of freezing on the screen, tbh I’m kinda passed off it’s faulty, and I am holding the coil up in the air so it’s not next to any other metal or electrics.

Great video Gary! I do want to know how do I recharge the 9-inch coil stem battery? I have searched all over the manual and do not see anything that says how to recharge that battery! Please advise. Thanks! ;-) Dave

Use the clip to connect to the two metal points on the coil itself.

Is it possible to find a kit for sale with the DD hf coil.. I have searched everywhere..help..Black Friday deal needed with a pointer and large headphones.. show me where to buy. Thx..

Ive had mine since August Ive found small hammered coins and other artifacts with the nine inch HF coil ,but theres been nothing that I wouldn't found with the nine inch standard coil,even used it at the beach and theres know obvious advantage there...

I've had mine a few months and crap on depth but it's not for that. On a fine tilled field it will find sweats at about 3..5 inch all day in very black mineralised soil.

Shit them french sticks make it simplex mate

Sadly they cost way to much and don't last as long as a non battery coil
