Fantastic Waltz and I must say that this has been one of the best seasons since the beginning of Dancing With the Stars. 💃🕺👏👏 I miss Len😢🌷

If you saw the live show, you would also know the feeling when you thought Xochitl, one of the strongest competitors on the season and who looked like she was gonna win the whole thing, could’ve gone home and miss out on the finals, but then flips the script by saying everyone’s good for next week. This show really knows how to give me a heart attack lmao

@TombCat I don't think it was last minute. Before the show started, the producers tweeted something like "who will make it to the finals? You'll be shocked at the end of the show" and they talked about a surprise during the show. It was preplanned

I agree… decisions on live TV are pre-planned. So beautiful that they all could stay… u could see the emotion of each one as they were thinking ab elimination. Val is an absolute superb dancer, choreographer + overall teacher❣️ ♥️

You have to wonder if the show runners anticipated Allison leaving but she has endeared herself so much to the judges and, more importantly, the voters, that a decision was made to have her back next week. Either that or they guessed that Allison actually would get voted into the finals but there was no way in hell that the powers that be were going to let four more superior dancers leave. No way is Allison anything like Bobby Bones but the show is still hurting from that one (although I didn't think that Iman Shumpert should have won over JoJo in Season 30). My guess is, in order of elimination: 4. Allison 3. Charity 2. Ariana Winner: Xochiti

This dance is going to go down in DWTS history, I cannot stop watching this dance, it is truly the definition of perfection.

I think it says something that the two best and most popular dances of the past 2 seasons were just pure dance. No flash, no silly tricks or gimmicks, just classy and elegant dancing - in both this waltz by Xochitl and Val, and last season with Charli and Mark in their Viennese waltz (both being semi-finals week dances too - I think these 2 dances are probably what decided the winner, to be honest). Just like with Charli's dance, the audience had their breath taken away.

This waltz was the first and only dance of the season that deserved a perfect score IMO. Compared to past seasons - these contestants are not bad, but they are not quick and they all have something lacking in either ability or performance. Pasha and his partner's Argentine Tango was excellent too. Xochitl has been the best most weeks, but her flexibility and precision have improved. She exudes charisma and Val is a joy to watch, always. Charity is not as great as she thinks she is - and I don't see where she or Jason have ever deserved more than a 9. Allyson is a lovely person and the public knows and likes her. That's the real reason no one was eliminated last night - because it was going to be a front running couple to go home.

​@@TombCatnoooooooooo it's because A it's a special occasion dye to this being the Len Goodman mirrorball trophy and B this premiered when the strike was going on so they probably planned this out in advance to fill needed content NOT EVERYTHING is a conspiracy theory what has stopped them before when front running couples fall just short

And they have done exactly the same thing before near the end when a low scoring couple was safe and the best couple was to be eliminated. They declared that everyone could stay. If this was planned - why were Val and Pasha's partners crying? It was Charity and Artem who had the lowest scores by the way. ABC does not eliminate a WOC bachelorette!

@@TombCat it's because they wanted to scare them as they were the only ones who never had to experience the thought of being eliminated. They did that intentionally to scare them. and besides if what you say is true about charity then it's not really gonna matter next week is it?

Val and Daniella make the show, as far as the pro dancers go. They are gifted, passionate, creative artists who are also being themselves. I wish Witney would return. She's so much FUN and very creative. Artem and Pasha are excellent dancers and teachers too. Jenna is OK. Most of the other pros exude fake personalities and variable talent. I'm NOT a fan of Alan or Peta or GLeeB.

Yes for a second I thought I was watching a movie too. It was so gorgeous. I love the song la vie en rose. I like the Luis Armstrong version the best.

This!! This is the essence of the show. We don't need a theme every damn week. What DWTS needs is to go back to its essence which is dance pure ballroom or latin dances performed to proper ballroom or latin music and not some random song because its some damn theme week. Today's show is an example of how much difference music makes - whoever did the song selection for this week needs a raise. The pros stepped up their game bigtime and all the routines were full of content and not gimmicks. I almost feel like I'm watching a whole different show. I loved loved loved this week!

Agree! I don't mind most memorable years, or Disney week. But we don't need music video and a tribute to a different artist. Halloween is okay as well. But I remember when this show first started, half the contestants would do ballroom, the other half Latin, and then rotate each week. I miss that.

​@@blpalv15 Disney week works because most of the popular Disney songs for a genre can be performed to. It's when you do "Taylor Swift" week and the like that it becomes difficult to find songs to match the routine and needed mood for the dance. 2 or 3 special nights a season is all we need, let's get back to DANCING - the way Len would want it.

She has shown such artistry and grace at a young age, it’s very impressive to watch. She and Val make a great pair, he’s like her big brother. I think they’re going to win.

It is very rare to reach perfection on the show, she did it! This was absolutely perfect in technic and artistic way, she's the greatest performer and her growth on the show is unbelievable. And with that, the genius talent of Val who achieved to create the most amazing choreographies every week. They have to win!

Xochitl is not only a dancer ,she is an performer, an artist.!!!!!❤❤❤

Val’s facial expression at 0:54 absolutely melted my heart! If Jenna & Val ever have a daughter in the future, she’s going to be treated like a princess. Aside from that, Xochitl you are killing it! So impressed by you each week - but especially this one! You’ve got my votes heading into the finale next week 👏👏

Val got a little sister this season, just like Mark did last season (look into Mark's inspiration for the choreography for their Viennese waltz and you'll get why it was so emotional for both of them) - never underestimate the effect that having a child (or losing one in Mark's case last year) does to you.

Beside the len goodman tribute waltz, this is the best waltz i have ever seen.God !! Elegance,choreo,the moves,facial expressions,music,the dress and val ofcourse:)) mirrorball champ already

I think this is the only dance that has ever made me cry in DWTS history

There's something so special about Xochitl. Elegant and passionate performance. It's gonna be a tight race to the finish line between her, Ariana and Jason. But for me Xochitl and Jason have the edge, the passion and stretch we expect at this stage.

I think it will be between the two girls and Charity but you never know! Love what Jason has done all season though, he’s picked up the dances well. He has a great partner in Daniella, she is an exceptional choreographer.

They scared me with that fake out elimination at the end thought she was about to get Juan Pablo'd thank goodness not! Xochtil deserves to win the whole thing this was stunning and so sophisticated. len would have loved it

TWO PERFECT SCENES AGAIN!!! Xochitl and Val GOT ALL 🔟s AHHHHHH!!!! That was such a stunning performance!!! Derek was right, Len would have loved this dance. Beyond beautiful - all 🔟s and more. So beautiful in every way. Len would definitely have loved it - “from Len a Ten”! Emotional tears watching it left me breathless and in tears. That was just elegant and beautiful. She is perfection. ❤️🖤🌹🥀 She's a great dancer for only being 17 years old. Jason is my favorite, and hopefully makes it to the finals. The most beautiful dance of the entire season, they are the winners!!!

Usually I am captivated by the perfection of the pros! My focus was on Xochitl……magnificent. Val highlighted her…..excellent choreography! Just beautiful. 💛

Without a doubt, the best dance I've ever seen on DWTS...hands down. Len would have been moved to tears by that.

Val and Xochitl dance so beautifully. They complement each other. I get either goosebumps or genuine smiles watching them dance each week. 💃 They deserve the Len Goodman Mirror Ball trophy.

So good that Derek got choked up while commenting how much Len Goodman would have loved this dance. And Carrie Ann completely lost herself and forgot to put her score in. She said she never wanted it to end. I feel the same.

Gonna say this right now. This is top 5 dances in DWTS history. And for me this could be number 1 just based off of how it affected ME. Bueno said it perfectly. Her musicality is everything. Wow wow wow! ♥️

Val has to be one of the best, if not the best, choreographers out there. He manages to create beautiful art and bring out the best in his partners. It’s incredible!!

This waltz to La Vie en Rose is one of the best dances that Xochitl Gomez has ever done on the show! She just captures what a true performer really does and is, even my mom was brought to tears while watching her! No matter what happens, this 17 year old has already inspired me to feel like it’s okay to feel young at heart! I just love this girl so much!

It takes so much for me to shed a tear and this performance had me sobbing on how good she performed 🥹

Xochiti reminds me, in some ways, of Meryl Davis. Meryl danced with power, speed, precision and high marks for presentation. So does Xochiti. Like, Meryl, she has pretty much gone wire to wire so far. Ariana is also wonderful but not quite as confident and purely entertaining as Xochiti. The kid just sells out on every dance routine that she does and just like he was with Zendaya, Val is the perfect partner/teacher for her. I'll be very disappointed if Xochiti doesn't take home the Len Goodman trophy next week.

There has not been such a perfect couple since Maks and Meryl. Maks and Val have been my favorites. Both brothers are fantastic dancers with great choreography. Derrick is also fantastic. I wish the whole clip was shown. They both were emotional at the end and Derrick breaking up when he said Len would have loved it. I cried. It’s true Len would have loved and appreciated it. Miss Len 😢
