Xochitl Gomez REACTS to ‘DWTS’ Win: ‘Couldn’t Believe It’ (Exclusive)

Xochitl Gomez and Val Chemrkovskiy were in celebration mode with “Extra’s” Melvin Robert right after they took home the first-ever Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy on “Dancing with the Stars”! They said it was hard to explain how they were feeling and reflected on why it was actually a little bittersweet to be at the end of their journey together. Val also spoke about continuing Len’s legacy by furthering ballroom dance.

Xochitl Gomez has accomplished so much already at 17 years old! I’m so happy that she won the mirrorball trophy with Val last night!
It was a great season! And awesome dancing, loved everything Xochitl and Val did this season!
How wonderfully right did this season end!! To see two more deserving people win the Len Goodman trophy..BRAVO. From start to finish they were so creatively in sinc with one another. I was worried that sometimes votes go more to popularity in numbers..but to see viewers this season reward the true God given talent!! 😊Somebody with little or no dance background. Cheerleading..gymnastics..athletes. Nobody should have a leg up going into this thing. Any kind of athletic ability has an advantage in physical endurance. Never thought that was fair. Xochitl & Val enjoy every damn minute..Truly earned 😊 🎉

She war clearly the best dancer, Cheryl Burke a pro said based technical xochital was about he best.
Very good, but not the best. Jason should have won.
I personally think the whole thing was rigged, yes rigged. My husband read an article saying that Val would most likely win. Artem is the best pro out there, and Charity put her heart and soul on the dance floor every week.

Grow up and stop being so bitter about her winning. She did absolutely amazing for having no dancing background and she delivered an amazing dance to that dance for time and time again. Her dedication to win was strong and she accomplished her goal and I’m so proud of her. (Grow up, she’s only 17)
