Xochitl and Val did awesome on DWTS this year! I’m so proud of them for winning the mirrorball last night!

my champs from week 1 !!! Congratulations on such an EPIC win by the most dynamic duo to brilliant & creative choreography.

This was such an absolute deserved win in dance. It's a DANCE competition. Not cheerleading or gymnastics. Always going to have nay sayers. To watch this season, I watched it go back to how it started out. The focus on teaching. When you have people on with any kind of athletic ability compete..just seems unfair. Nobody should have advantages going into it. That's why we root for the underdogs. Xochitl you have blossomed into a true dancer. Went step for step with the pro ladies..never missed a beat. Don't let anybody rain on your parade. Props to Val & Jenna for the tribute dance for Len this season. A waltz to Moon River in its most traditional form should win an Emmy. ❤ Truly

Why not a cheerleader or gymnast? They have to work hard and learn dances just like everyone else. It should have been Charity and Artem.

As someone who has studied ballroom dance, a lot of people have advantages in this show. Athletes are in great shape and know how to physically push their bodies. Actors know how to get into the character of each dance (much harder to do than non dancers realize). Musicians have musicality (another thing that is more difficult than non dancers realize). The only people on this show who truly have no advantages would be people like the bachelor stars.

She is young. She may be only 17 but shes got so much grace embracing the competition,, working just as hard as the other stars competing. Regardless of age Xochitl did an amazing job , very well deserving of such an epic win!! Am super happy she won with Val

This isn't maturity with the stars sooo she earned her win tf. Also u talking Abt Ari having grace which was true for some dances but she straight up twerked in her freestyle. Normally that isn't a problem but that proves yr point wrong
