XJ Notch Customs Fender Flare Install (Rear)
After a year of HARD wheeling in the Green Cherokee it is time to resurrect it to it's former glory! We are finally getting to some much needed upgrades before we take it back on the trail, to start we are installing some Notch Customs Fender Flares and some JCR quarter panel armor!
This is part one of the Cherokee XJ Resurrection Series, new episode to this series every week until we get back out on the trail with it!

JCR armor for the win! Wish we would have done this a LONG time ago...
Like your work and your dog has the same arrogant look on its face as our Beagle use to have. Great dog and although we have a super dog currently I miss it’s actions and grumpy character!

Sometimes it's tough not having a helper. I have to get my wife out helping me on the jeep sometimes too. It reminds me that I have like no friends and I can't get the dog to help install things..yet... LoL.

@@backcountrybeagles I like the armor, I went with Rusty's off-road armor front and rear specifically because they have a flare and rub rail. I like the look of the Rusty's flares I spent a long time thinking about different options I almost got some armor like yours and made flares myself but I like the Rusty's. I'm running 37s. Now in the rear I did cut around my wheel well and weld it together but I didn't go nearly as far as you did around the front and top of the well otherwise I would have had to build my steel flares if that's what I wanted I did go past the pinch welds though and had to weld it back together. I spent a lot of time fully welding and sculpting the seams then covered it all up lol. I have a taller lift and I also accounted for the axle being pushed back slightly and moving rearward in the suspension travel then I also bump stopped accordingly. But anyways I'm enjoying your videos.
Just came across your build series, I sold your Jeeps clone about 12 years ago, I regret it every day... I still look for it to this day.

At first I thought you had too much lift on the cherokee but if you are planning to go bigger than 35s it will be perfect. So hyped for this build man! Keep up the great videos!
