I use Z side as BH and A side FH. The BH side is superb. Can play easily even with the those rubbers traditionally recognized as FH rubbers at max thickness and hardness, no matter tacky or not. However, I have problem with FH. I found it weak, with regard to both speed and rotation. It’s still good, good control actually, but just not as powerful as top blades such like some super ZLC blades or 968. I use non tacky Andro roxon 500 which has a 50 degree ESN sponge. Next I will switch to 729 battle 2 to see if it will make a difference. I hope so, otherwise I’ll give up this blade as I really want more powerful FH.

Hey! What a perfect analysis.. I feel the same way. The BH is great, and the blade over all is amazing for consistency. Although, I feel it lacks FH power and rotation compared to the some of the powerful blades out there as well. Although, this blade is great because it it’s consistency..the rallies last longer, the game play is more fun and the shots can be epic (take more risk). Although if you are a good enough player to where you have maxed out all the gears of the AZXi, I suggest that it is time to upgrade to a blade with more gears( If you can handle it).

How would you define stiff & elastic? Different people seem to define differently.

I like this Blade. Used O7PRO on both sides. Now Rasanter R47 on FH and think about putting O7Euro on BH. What do you think are the best rubbers for this blade? Thanks!

which side would you recommend for forehand. my forehand is stronger , i would prefer control on my backhand and dont need much power

I recommend the ALC Side forehand, ZLC backhand. I know usually ZLC is faster, although the composition of this blade has a way thicker ALC layer than the ZLC side, therefore making the ALC side faster. Backhand for ZLC offer greater control. Also, the ALC side offers more arc, allowing for better topspins on the forehand. The ZLC side will hit a bit flatter and is better your your backhand for punchy shots.

@@dfy yeh. It’s a carbon type mix of alc and zlc (axylium and zephylium like the way xiom call) and it’s inner carbon type. If possible would love to see a view of it from you🙌 cheers ! !

By the way there are two versions of the same blade (1) TMXi and (2) TMXi Pro. Pro is the model used by An Jaehyun himself and it is only available to purchase in Korea not even in Japan. In Japanese website, just the normal TMXi is available. Xiom Korea : m.xiom.store/product/list_thumb.html?cate_no=25 Xiom Japan : xiom.jp/?pid=166443818 Here it is. Hope you find it helpful :)
