XIOM An Jaehyun TMXi and TMXi (Pro) - Review Coming Soon!

Спорт

This is a preview to the all new XIOM An Jaehyun TMXi and TMXi (Pro)! This blade has not yet been released in the US and was a pain to put an order on one (specifically the XIOM An Jaehyun TMXi Pro Version) - I will have the Pro version of the TMXi in 4-6 Weeks and will do a full review!

Waiting for the review to come out reallyyy soon🙌 Many ppl are interested in this blade since a lot of players from Korea national team uses W968 and some who previously uses the well known Dhs long V/w968 are now switching to this new Xiom blade. Wonder if this could be a replacement to long V. I’ve got a question concerning xiom blades. Do Xiom blades usually encounter blade splinters on the wood surface? The long V is known to have this issue (**not w968 just long V) also because of the outer layer of the blade being limba) but unlike butterfly limba outer veneer blades like innerforce, they don’t face such issue often, BTY blades usually have very good and neat finishing on wood surface and overall quality. I’m really itching to get this TMXi blade but at the same time I’m anxious if xiom has so problem. Any idea about it? Like AZX, AZXi do they splinter as well? Sry if my comment has been too long

Xiom blades are amongst the best, I still have my Ice Cream AZXi (it’s 3 years old and it’s fine) - Maybe a few splinters. But yes Xiom blades can be more prone to splinters than butterfly for example. Butterfly makes the highest quality of blades. But I just love the way Xiom plays.. BTW I ordered a TMXi Pro! (Not easy to get). Thanks for turning me onto this blade. I didn’t even know about it and just happens to be exactly what I’m looking for

@@dfy I see. It’s really informative to know about it. Between I guess Fan Zhendong blade will be out soon too 😂not very certain tho but he’s using a custom ALC blade at the moment according to BTY as you know. TMXi won’t be as hype as FZD’s blade but still I love it. How much did you pay for the TMXi and TMXi Pro respectively May I know. Did you buy from a local tt store? I wanna get one tbh xd but it’s hard to buy the pro here. Normal TMXi is somehow gonna be instock at the store sooner or later I predict. You’re welcome :) I’ve watched your previous reviews as well since I’m very curious about this blade and still there few reviews of the current blade both on KZread and on other tt forums too so.

Yes, you have to order it directly from Korea. I tried calling and they made me go through USA’s American XIOM Rep. his name is Gordon. He can order this blade for you next time he re-ups stock for his XIOM shop at 888 Table tennis center. Gordon: gordon.kaye@xiom.shop Shoot him an email, you will have your blade. Let him know me (Alfred) sent you.

@@loechannel9757 Yes, here are the differences: #1 - The PRO has a wider head size by 2mm supposedly allowing for a wider sweet spot; hopefully like the Butterfly Zhang Jike Super ZLC, Butterfly Mizutani Jun Super ZLC or the Butterfly Lin Yun-Ju Super ZLC which all have AMAZING Sweet spots (although very pricey). #2 - The PRO has a Thicker grip. I use grip tape because I have big hands and sweat a lot during play. When I receive the pro, hopefully no more grip tape, we’ll see. #3 - The PRO is bit heavier. #4 - The PRO has a bit more control #5 - The PRO has a bit more speed I’ll do a review when I receive the blade!
