    For the differential, Instead of snugging that one screw up for the drive cups you’ll want to remove that and separate the cup and that gear and make sure that you liberally apply grease in between the gear and the housing and inside the bearing so that it doesn’t have to use any more force than necessary to spin that gear. Then when putting the screw back in you’ll not want to tighten it too much again so it doesn’t need more force than necessary to spin that. Do this for both sides of the differential and then pack the diff with grease. And make sure that it isn’t to hard to spin the limited slip so that you don’t sheet off the grooves on that gear that you took off. I’ve learned this from experience and this what has worked best for me.

    Great material, I had to take my 9125 apart today because it went into a deep puddle and was dripping with water. I also took the oportunity and greased the front and rear differential. I also found out that one of the screws keeping the rear differential together was loose, which probably is a factory defect. I hope it will not affect the car.

    does packing it with grease reduce the power/speed of the truck as i assume it would add a little resistance to the movement of the gears. Also i am so far impressed with this truck for its value and was wondering how many hours use you have in this one and what parts have needed replacement.

    Hey bud! Thanks for these videos I've become a lot more knowledgeable after watching your videos. Wanted to run something by you on the hosim 9125 truck. Is it just me and I have been putting in my differentials upside down this whole time or does the manual have the differentials in upside down? I've ordered some new diffs but in the meantime I've been trying to figure out what keeps causing my differentials to come loose after 5 min of play? I have an idea it's most likely my grub screws threads are worn out bc they seem to keep coming loose. It's aggravating when you finish putting truck back together only to take it apart 5 min later. I should be an expert by now disassembling and reassembling after about 100x. Lol Hoping you might have an idea of what I can try? Would you happen to know size of screw and if I can just buy a set of screws that would work. I hope I'm saying the right screw but it's the one that goes inside the diff housing that screws in to to the spur gear and holds the out drive cups in place. One other question whenever you place the motors back in their specific place does the slipper clutch need to be sitting on top the motor gears or under? I keep having what sounds like something slipping when my truck revs high but will go about 1klm/h. Lol Thanks and I hope I'm not bombarding you with unrealistic questions.

I know the 9115 or 9136 are similar and transmitter can bind with different model.. But this one the 9125 got a 60 amp esc, I would like to use it on my other xinlehong model. But I'm not sure if it will connect to my other xinlehong transmitter. Can you please help me, Thank Jc

    I got this truck for my son and I had a few questions. This video is very helpful and answers most everything. I’m new to RC’s and I’m curious, when I’m holding the truck and it’s off, if I turn a single wheel should all 4 turn in their proper directions? Or just front or back?

  • @Martin_Vail_Esq.

    William Wilkes I agree with your praise of this channel, he is doing a great job and provides the best information available on KZread. I am also new to RC, and just got this truck as well. Having said that, I think your question about the wheels is best explained by this trucks open differentials. Basically if one wheel gets stuck, the power is diverted to the other 3 wheels for better handling. If you would like to lock the rear differential it would make the truck behave differently if you primarily use it for off road applications. Hope my info is somewhat accurate, and somewhat helpful.

    @@LeSiZmOr Thanks for your reply! I'm more concerned about the 390 motors, would they fry over a period of time if I run 3s? Thanks again!

  • @LeSiZmOr

    @LeSiZmOr

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@sl4y3r1988 Well, keep in mind first that this truck wasn't designed to run 3S batteries. The ESC is however "rated" @ 60A which will handle 11.1V.. I think that 3S would be okay to run, but I would be mindful in checking ESC and motor temps periodically. Thanks for the good questions. Hope this helps. Also.. these 390 silver can motors are pretty generic and easy to find. These are not open can design where you can replace brushes as they wear out, so once they are done.. you yank em and get new ones. I'm going to do some experimenting with 3S in this truck in the next few weeks and probably post a video. I won't recommend my viewers run anything other than intended batteries, but you should be able to without too much trouble. As far as premature burn up of these motors.. assuming they are rated at at least 7.4V each...11.1V shouldn't be too much an issue. Accelerated wear may be more an issue on drivetrain parts such as outdrive cups and CVD/dogbone, driveshafts, diffs, ESC. If you go for it , check the temps frequently.

    Lee Pereira I use a 3s Li-Po battery at all times on my Hosim 9125. It runs much faster, I’m sure that the Low speed on 3s matches the high speed on 2s. Also the high speed makes it hard to accelerate because it will do a backflip off the line. Just make sure to slowly get things rolling if I’m high speed, or just start in low then switch to high while driving. It does get hot, but never enough to shut the car off.
