Sleep teaching is good. Note that battery lasts only around 1-2 days, which makes it tricky to track sleeping.

Hey, can someone tell me how Google maps work on this watch when you have version without eSIM connected by Bluetooth with smartphone? I mean the watch only shows text directions or it shows a map like on the smartphone? I was searching for that information but cannot find anything about that :/

You can cache some of the maps for a particular route. Or you need to keep your smartwatch around.

Hi thx for the awesome review. Ive been wearing this watch for under a month now. Always been a fan of the xiaomi universe. Im very satisfied with this as compared with my galaxywatch 5 based on 2 reasons: Battery Life & Sync with Mi Fitness App without any other conditions (like how Samsung holds u ransom to own a Samsung phone in order to utilise all the functions properly...blegh). The fitness and health functions on this watch is really great, it even has that body temperature reading that ACTUALLY works on the watch itself (unlike samsung's still empty promise) Stylistically, it's a beautiful watch, nothing extraordinary, although i still like the sleekness of the galaxy series. But my main gripe is 2 things: the hefty size and weight, which can be felt when wearing it and also the lack of size choices, as it comes with only 1 size. So people with smaller wrists may find it really out of place wearing it. Lucky enough for me, i fall in the middle category of wrist size, it still looks big though, but I've gotten used to it. My overall rating for this watch 8/10. I would personally recommend this over a Galaxy. Ouh, before i forget...battery is GREAT, although Xiaomi, i hope u could do 1 better with the charging port...it still is a dot click kind, lets step it up with the magnetic kind next round ya! Cheerios! Highly recommended watch where u can wear it and not think abt getting a same brand phone. Its a freeeee world!!! Hahahahha!

S1 Pro is not a smart watch but rather a fitness bracelet that looks like a smart watch.

Well my friend one thing i can't get to work on this watch is the body composition measurement. Also the rotating buton keeps being pressed constantly accidently powering up Google assistant. That was solved by changing the default button to the down one. Also the weather isn't updated sometimes though connected both to smartphone and to home network. A restart solves the issue for one or 2 days. Battery life max 1day plus with all sensors working and notifications (Always display in off mode).

I thought that is a WearOS built-in function, by default it is turned off. I assume every watch with "tilt to wake" has support for wrist gestures by hardware.

I already have one found on amazon by third part seller for a while. I love it its really smooth and all the features are amazing. It can really be compared with the galaxy watch 6 Classic and with a 100$ less. I hope that will be supported in terms of updates like the bands and it will be perfect

I am not a big fan of WearOS devices because of the battery life. So - I'd go for brands such as Amazfit, Garmin and similar. But this one is quite solid indeed.

Great vid as always. Im skeptical for two reasons . I didnt see anywhere the heart rate accuracy and second it lacks of extra health features like heart variability or ecg. Besides these it seems great watch for wear os. One more question. How about the vitality feature? Is it worth ? Its useful and accurate?

It is good about accuracy. Compared to polar H10 differece is within 10%. But there are no too advanced health features.

Mi Fitness application counts steps (Data source) from the phone Redmi Note 11 and smart watch Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro together so the walking data (step count) is duplicated. Any chance to fix this BIG problem.

I don't think it is duplicated - they have an algorithm to eliminate double counting.

No way or this algorithm is complete wrong. Somedays in normal day walking show more than 75 000 steps. Should be normal 8 - 10 K. There is no way to fix this.@@TechMishka

Exactly my problem with the app that makes me want to stop using the watch. It's tracking steps based on phone movements, even when the app is not running in the background. I tried removing all permissions and restricting background activity but it still does it. Previously I was using zepp life, a much better app, but this new watches no longer support it

Is it compatible with xiaomi mi11 camera remote? I cannot view camera preview with my mi11. I can only use shutter button

Welltory is a really good app to get. You can pay, but the free version does just as well. This gives you hrv readings throughout the day and training recommendations. I have the galaxy watch 5 Pro lte, and Welltory has been a godsend.

The biggest problem with xiaomi wearables is the mobile app "Mi Fitness". Absolutely terrible app that makes me want to never use it again. It's adding fake steps based on phone movements, even when the app is completely turned off, even when the band is connected. This makes it double the amount of real steps. Not to mention how badly it displays heart rate measurements and other data..

Will this watch have a non pro version?

WearOs watch by Xiaomi at 270€, now this is interesting. I like the design and buttons layout, rotating crown is meant for the centre. How about nfc and payments? Glad to see more options with wearOs at more reasonable prices

Im pretty sure it doesnt since it's specs dont list the bands required. Technically the Chip would support them, but theyll most likely be software locked anyway. Xiaomi devices have been notorious for spotty us carrier support and vice versa.
