Hi thx for the awesome review. Ive been wearing this watch for under a month now. Always been a fan of the xiaomi universe. Im very satisfied with this as compared with my galaxywatch 5 based on 2 reasons: Battery Life & Sync with Mi Fitness App without any other conditions (like how Samsung holds u ransom to own a Samsung phone in order to utilise all the functions properly...blegh). The fitness and health functions on this watch is really great, it even has that body temperature reading that ACTUALLY works on the watch itself (unlike samsung's still empty promise) Stylistically, it's a beautiful watch, nothing extraordinary, although i still like the sleekness of the galaxy series. But my main gripe is 2 things: the hefty size and weight, which can be felt when wearing it and also the lack of size choices, as it comes with only 1 size. So people with smaller wrists may find it really out of place wearing it. Lucky enough for me, i fall in the middle category of wrist size, it still looks big though, but I've gotten used to it. My overall rating for this watch 8/10. I would personally recommend this over a Galaxy. Ouh, before i forget...battery is GREAT, although Xiaomi, i hope u could do 1 better with the charging port...it still is a dot click kind, lets step it up with the magnetic kind next round ya! Cheerios! Highly recommended watch where u can wear it and not think abt getting a same brand phone. Its a freeeee world!!! Hahahahha!

I'm not sure about GPX probably you need to use app that can do this. The battery life is good for Wear OS watch it can last 2 days in moderate use or one full day with always on display and some GPS and LTE activities. 👍

Do you know if the watch allows the use of external heart rate sensors integrated in xiaomi software?

I'm not aware of such a function, all the controls happens at the Mi Fitness App, and it seems it works the same way on all the Android phones. You sitll need to have newer Android version. 👍

Mi Fitness application counts steps (Data source) from the phone Redmi Note 11 and smart watch Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro together so the walking data (step count) is duplicated. Any chance to fix this BIG problem.

Thank you for this video. Does the USB (USB charger in the box) support data transmission. I mean is it possible to transfer data to the watch using the USB charger cable or it is only for the charge? And finally what is the codename of this watch.

Yes. You can choose between walking, car and biking. Unfortunately, public transport isn't available on the Wear OS Google Maps app.

Its amazing because it doesn't lag like samsungs smartwatch

it depends on what you prefer.. if your need is to have greater autonomy then I would tell you to get the galaxy 5 pro.. disabling AOD and sensors gives you 4 days of autonomy. Samsung guarantees yet another year of updates.. Xiaomi has never updated its smartwatches until today.... I tried the 5 pro, but then I decided to buy the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm.. same price as the 5 pro (€300) but superior in terms of fluidity, multitasking, display, elegance and comfort on the wrist. currently disabling AOD and sensors.. currently 48 hours have already passed since the last charge and I still have 48% battery life.. I think the watch 6 guarantees 3 full days if used to answer notifications and calls and using some apps every now and then. Samsung is superior in everything... sapphire screen, display up to 2000nits, battery life, quality of materials, general fluidity when compared to the watch 6 (the 5 pro has more lag), major updates guaranteed for 3 years. furthermore, the display of sw5+ is 1.43''.. that of xiaomi 1.43".. that of sw6 44mm is 1.5".. I prefer it because it is larger and superior

That's great that you visited Shenzhen, in SEG Mall there are no smartphones you have to go to the second hand and refurbished market for Samsung phones or if you want new, you need to go to the wholesale market which is located on the same side of the street where is the SEG Mall.

I would say they are pretty similar, this one has more battery though, they both are really good watches. This one is also a bit cheaper, I personally prefer it

I just ordered the 2 Pro. I have the GW6 Classic. For smartwatch features it is great, for fitness it is terrible. GPS is not accurate at all and heartrate is all over the place.

bad marketing decision to change to Wear OS that is a battery killer. Xiaomi has established on the market for being different then the BIG 2 in terms of battery life. The older models were beautifullly engineered to satisfy most of the needs. This convinced me to go with Huawei GT4 which has its proprietary software and can get me about 2 weeks of battery life instead of 2 days what Xiaomi can offer. 😉

That`s great that there is another Wear OS watch on the market, I like that they used a Snapdragon platform. It looks too big on your wrist though, I don`t like the looks. The Galaxy Watch 6 44mm looks much neater and cleaner.
