I've turned off screen lock, but when I power on the screen it always shows a screen with the time widget on where I need to swipe up before I get access to the home screen. Is there a way to disable this?

When I used a smart case with auto sleep/wake function, the lock screen with time widget automatically disappears upon opening the front cover.

Should i buy Redmi pad SE or Tab A9+ (for watching movies only) or maybe if its worth it add more and get the xiaomi pad 6?

If you are wanting a charger brick then go for the xiaomi but I think overall the honor wins

hope the Samsung A9 is worth it , i'll wait and see how it goes

@digitalDolby they announced it at what equals to 250 $ i think for the indian market for the a9+ 8gb ram and 128 gb storage .

I think it's a good tablet for it's price. You could just get the 128GB/6GB version and have similar performance to the MTK G99 CPU wise and still get a good tablet for basic work and entertainment. Not much of a gaming tablet but a great budget tablet with great speakers for the price

Not really, especially when in many countries for around that budget (or not much more) today you can easily get the Xiaomi Pad 5 - which has way stronger specs, a much better screen, supports stylus pens and is still an overall excellent device for every kind of task (not just for media) including gaming.

@@Dr.Akakia Yeah… My mind boggles at how (literally) almost obody these days seems to know the difference in spelling between the verb ((it’s, it is, “it’s a good…”)) and the adjective ((his/her/*its*, “its price”)) - using it interchangeably - when _it’s_ basically the second or third rule of english grammar they teach you. 🤯😳

My dad bought me this last dec 22 and i immediately downloaded the one note app. Then, i was glad it can do the drag and drop thing. However, when I tried this morning january 10, it suddenly can't drag and drop. I haven't updated this tab. I don't know the reason why it suddenly cant drag and drop pictures from chrome to one note, is there a problem with the pad. Can someone know why did it happen and how to fix it? Big thanks to someone who will answer about this.

I got both the pad and phone from Xiaomi. The pad has the worst lag when using apps. Both are riddled with bloatwares from hell.

I never understand the complain of bloatwares. Every brand of phones has pre installed apps. Let's say Xiaomi has 10 more pre installed apps it literally takes less than 1 min to un-install apps.

I would chose between the two based on the display size you want. 11 inch or 12 inch? The Honor is quite a bit bigger. If you don't care about the difference, I would get the Redmi Pad SE because Xiaomi has been pretty good with updates recently and it has a 90Hz screen.

@@istiaksunny752 RedmiPad se if you get it for social media browsing media consumption and light work and light gaming, if heavy duty game but on budget I'll suggest straight go for Xiaomi pad 6 regular as it's the most affordable semi flagship tablet with snapdragon 870 although a 2year old processor still very capable for all
