Seems like Xiaomi is doing some awesome integrations between their Pad and Phones. Similar to how OnePlus has the data sharing. I wish other tablet makers would consider doing similar. I know Samsung has some things and I use them on occasion, but the more seamless setup like OnePlus and Xiaomi have makes it easier for the layman users to just setup and it works. This is a great alternative not a high end tablet killer it undercuts its competition with iits price it may not be cheap but still more affordable than a similarly spec android tab or even an M chip powered iPad

When will this be released in usa?

Xiaomi announced there will be WPS pc level just like Huawei. As of now, it is only limited to China region. I am also waiting for it to come out globally first. I am also a teacher and I need it badly. If there is, I may consider buying it.

I'd be interested in knowing whether it can operate properly in desktop mode. @TKBay only shows windowed mode and full screen mode. The question is: can you use this as productivity machine or is it just another glorified Android tablet? To test the true desktop mode, open Chrome and then open another Chrome window. Android doesn't allow this (I tried with Motorola Ready For and Samsung Dex). I will not buy another tablet (I've got Samsung Galaxy Tab S8) unless it has true desktop mode. Therefore the best solution is to install ChromeOS vm or any Linux distro inside Android vm (AVF). I hope this will possible soon with the Android 15.

Thank you for checking out the video and yes if you're hearing aid has a Bluetooth capability and you're able to stream music to them this tablet will work as it will treat them as regular Bluetooth earbuds and you can listen to the audio from them directly

Seperate audio function available since MIUI 13, able to play several media audio simultaneously

I would recommend turning off the extra RAM because it will actually just slow down the performance
