Pls pls Test something out for me... Install Modern Combat Versus, Open the Settings and activate 60 FPS. Tell me if there are laggs or if the phone overheats. it’s very very Important for my, cuz I’m a pro player in the game and I’m searching for a phone under 300 wich runs it good pls pls help me. I would even give the guy who does it a 15€ play store card. Answer if u have discord and want to help me.

I'm watching this on my A2 Lite. I'll say if you're thinking of getting it, go for it! But if mobile photography is important to you, then this may not be the one for you. So far I'm happy with it. This is replacing my iPhone 6s.

This is a great budget phone I use a Redmi 5 Plus as my back up phone and it's freaking great, the battery life is phenomenal, Xiaomi is the King of budget phones.

It's a great phone I got it ..I'm not a hardcore user of anything.. so this phone has all that i need for a great price ...

Watching this in my MI A2 Lite and it's a really awesome budget smartphone.

@@rockIIstar Well i was willing to buy a2 lite...then I saw the camera...a friend of mine bought a2 (not the lite version, only a2) it's camera seems to be good enough...but no headphone jack, no sd card support, and only 3000mAh battery...I can compromise these but can't compromise the camera.

just bought mine this year 2019 and so satisfied in its performance so far.

You've done a great choice. There is now the A3-line and I can hear a lot of comments with mixed feelings. While the A2 Lite has primarily very high satisfaction feedback.

Honestly, because I mostly use my phone for every day tasks like social media, I only ever notice a considerable difference in the camera. The camera is ok but it's average at best when compared to high end juggernauts like Samsung and Apple. Social media apps just run as smooth as it did on my S8+. As for the OS, I actually do prefer stock, as I used Nova Launcher Prime on my Samsung (heh). I consider it a great bang for the buck. I sold my phone, bought this one brand new and still managed to save some money. Win win.

You know what's odd? The only downside to this phone is the processor. It's old, but good for casual use. Compare that to the Flagships.

What even better than android one system is the Miui system, which is Chinese developed software based on android, and it keeps pushing new update Very-frequently, either weekly or monthly. What is best about Miui is that it allows you to use full screen without navigation bar, and it is simple and clean, it keeps android phone fast.

Thank you for this suggestion. I have tried MiUi in the past, and am trying to switch to a MiUi device in the recent days, and I can see some improvements. There are people complaining about ads appearing on the ROM. Any way to stop these for good?

@@TechMishka yep with a bit of patience you can turn off and disable all ads on the system, you can usually just disable them on the settings, just look up how to remove them as the process depends on the specific app you are removing the ads on

THere was Beach Buggy Racing and Real Racing 3, both from Play Store.

Just purchased a used one from a well-known auction site, arriving tomorrow. I'd bought the Moto G6 Play but couldn't download any apps to it! I need a phone that has a good battery I checked a different review for this phone yesterday & I'm glad that your review agreed with theirs only hope I agree a year on.

3 months ago this was on sale in my country for $111 (3/32gb model) and I was debating whether to buy it or not as a secondary phone.. thanks to your review I pulled the trigger and it's far by the best phone I've ever used for entertainment since I easily get 7 hours SOT through data and 9-10 hours SOT with wifi.. I ended up more than using this phone than my iPhone xs max.. on working days I start the day with 100% and I mostly chat or text my office mates the whole day and I usually go home at 8pm with still having 70% batt left ..

This kind of battery performance is so amazing! I never get close to these values, as using 2 SIM cards in area with bad coverage has a severe impact. Very very happy for you! 🙃

So, I ordered for mine recently, I'm still waiting for its arrival, but, I had to be sure I was not making a very bad decision, and with this video, and the numerous positive comments, I really cannot wait to lay my hands on it!!!!

I had a le s3 as well. but it died suddenly after 2 years..... it was a very good phone... but its dead now. The next day i bought this phone and now i'm watching this review on my MI A2 lite.

Regarding your great review of the Xiaomi A2 Lite on KZread, I have a question please: I recently purchased my Xiaomi A2 Lite based on your fantastic review. After just a couple of months of use, I accidentally dropped the phone from a height of maybe one foot (!), and the screen cracked. Keep in mind that I have a case for the phone plus and extra layer of thin (glass) as a screen protector. Even with these protective items, the screen still cracked from after the phone fell from a short height. Question: At 3:07, you'd mentioned that the screen could be replaced for around $30. Where exactly did you find this? I'd love to pay just $30 fir this repair, so can you please guide me to your source for this bargain?! TIA!

Ik it's not related to the video, but how can i flash rr os on this device? I fixed the error 7 so i can flash rr os (sakura), but it shows an error saying "E:string resource 'zip_compatible_err' not found" and some treble error. I found a thread on xda forums where they fixed it by updating twrp, and someone fixed it by downloading source and building a version for his phone. Rn i have version 3.2.3, and i don't want to wait for newer versions. How can i do it myself?

You have already done the best thing - started to look in the xda forums. I have not flashed any custom ROMs on the A2 lite, and cannot help with this question, unfortunately.

I had a Note 5 and I changed it to the Moto g5S because not 5 was uncomfortable to use on hand. And now I want change again my phone and I want to buy Xiaomi Mi A2 lite it looks good and has great preferences.

Yeah, now GOT is about to finish, so I had to change the scenery 😇

As fur camera its got pixek size 1.25 microns some more expensive phones only have 1.14 micron size as for the sd 625 its a 14 nm cpu so battery life is 35% better

Thanks again for the review and super quick responses! Great channel! Do you or anyone reading, know if this phone is compatible with a 256 GB Samsung Evo Plus or Select U3 card? The sdcard differences by each manufacturer are extremely confusing and there's rarely a clear mention in the specs of phones that accept sdcard if they accept certain faster sdcard technology than others. I know the U3 line is better suited for 4k recording but I'm looking at it in the long run and plan to use this card interchangeably with my new Dell XPS 15 2in1 (9575) laptop as a secondary storage possibly for some editing and for extra storage of media and photos. I've also read that while some sdcard are faster they don't do very well with hundreds of smaller files like photos, so that's another grey area. But mainly would love to know if the Samsung Evo Plus or Select 256GB card is compatible with the Mi A2 Lite phone and the XPS 15 9575 2 in 1 laptop?

I think it will be hard to find someone with the same config. Most likely it will work with the phone. I am using the Evo Plus series since years and can only say good things about them (although much lower capacity). Unfortunately I can't give you straight answer right now and hopefully there will be someone that can help.

I'm hoping since you might not have the laptop or specs, you hadn't mentioned it :) It's crazy how little specs are included in sdcard compatibility on devices but the sdcards themselves have all sorts of specifications :D Thanks again for the quick response. I think I'll check in the store if it's available and ask or test it and post my findings here for others (if I can get my hands on it)

I got my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 128GB + 128GGB microSD card at a great deal when the S8 duo was already in the market. It's still my daily driver. When the Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched, I already wanted it. A lot of great and positive reviews. Now, I want this Mi A2 Lite (not the regular A2). Thanks for the review.

​@@spacy9571 Of course - there aren't too many people that would argue with that. It is a downgrade, however not that huge. The S7 Edge has better CPU and maybe, a better camera and Android that won't see as many updates as the devices on the Android One program. As for the most important smartphone characteristic - the battery - the Mi A2 Lite beats big time. So in the end - it very much depends what a person is looking for.

Drawback 1. Notification Lcd is only one color. (I have Note 4, which had yellow, green, and Red.) 2. No Auto dimming or difficult to find (For different lighting). 3. 3 taps on the screen to wake up the phone, but no way to turn it OFF.

1. The existance of a notification led is good enough for that price. 2. There is actually auto dimming and you can even adjust the the preferred brightness on it. 3. There's not such function as I'm aware, but that's better for the battery.

There is no Xiaomi device with multi colour led anymore. Not even premium devices. Redmi Note 4 was about the last device with it. So that's not a downside for the Mi A2 Lite.

According to your 5 points I just bought this Xiaomi. You are 100% correct, this is a great device for the price! I simply love the clean Android. Keep on your GREAT work on KZread!

I just bought from gearbest 11.11 flash sale at $152 with the 4ram/64gb storage! Can't wait to receive it and hope it works well with my Tmobile NYC use.

The phone just arrived on Dec 9. Put the Tmobile sim card and had no issues, so far the phone is awesome. But didn't see the update for the 9.0 PI yet.

@@Brock79 the A2 Lite has been very good for the price I paid on 11.11 flash sale. The 4G LTE works with no issues in NYC area. I tried the Google map GPS and it was smooth. I guess the true test is when it is used a year or two from now. I hope your Texas area will do well.

I got this phone for 3 weeks and it's very good i recommend to buy this phone.

This is q very touch choice :-) They are very similar devices - perhaps Nokia's camera is slightly better, the CPU is a bit faster, however A2 Lite wins in the battery compartment.

Does the device have double tap to wake?

Sadly they don't produce smal smartphones anymore, there is one Iphone that is aceptable small, but beside that not realy . . . other than its size the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite fullfilles my needs more than acceptable. I don't have any use for a brillant camera, I can't take pictures not even to save my life . . . . . it has a metal backside what is a freature I irrationaly love, don't needs to be recharged several times the day what absulutly saves me, cause I often totaly forget about it, it runs with android, gets recharged with the same micro usb as all of my other things, has a good ram and lots of capacity to collect pictures and music.

Mi a2 lite supports 4k recording but you have to download the camera app that supports 4k

Great to hear that! I am using a Chinese smartphone since galaxy S2 and have been staying away from Xiaomi phones for a while. But they have changed a lot and these year's models are quite phenomenal.

True that - some amazing models available. I've been testing the Cheapest Xiaomi device (Redmi GO) for a while and even 65 bucks can buy you a good working solution. Of course it is far away from the A2 Lite league.

@@AB-sg4xu For just the port - not at all, but in terms of Xiaomi's income - that would be quite a serious hit. That will make the phone as good as other devices from their own portfolio and will impact their sales strategy. And that will make it quite expensive :-)

Bought one last week. Updated to android pie. No wifi anymore! Al the time connecting and then lost wifi. Tried a hotspot on a samsung s7 worked great. But home netwerk isnt working for me. Wanted to install the update from april but you can only install with WIFI. :( and not with hotspot?! Any ideas?

Hi Geoff, you can check the XDA forums for links to the official stock images. Try to set the phone to forget the home network, and then try again. If that is not working - try to change the WiFi setting of your home network temporarily - more importantly the encryption alogorithm - WEP/WPA and so on. Try a few of them - it should work if the phone hotspot is working fine too.

vry good phone worth every cent and dollar. buying a hi-end phone, which we do not use most of its high-end features.

There are two types of memory in mobile phones, random access memory a.k.a ram and rom a.k.a read only memory. Think about it as the hdd in the pc. Its pretty much the same but its called rom in mobile phones:)

3:44 Big kudos for getting the intonation on "Xiaomi" correct! A little tip though, the first syllable is pronounced more like "siao", rather than "shiao".

Hey! Amazing review you did here! Quick question though...what would be your device of choice if you had to choose between this and the Huawei Y7 prime 2019? Hope you see this comment soon, any help would be much appreciated!

Just a reminder that it is a personal thought, and I am saying this based on trying the Mi A2 lite and not having tried the Y7 Prime: I would avoid SD400-based devices, unless you really don't care about performance. But a lower-grade CPU means worse processing of data, even worse multimedia processing (including photos). Therefore I'd likely choose the Mi A2 Lite. I like a lot the stock Android.

Had this phone for a few days now. Got it for £80 ($105) from eBay, new unopened. It's great. I have trouble playing really high end games but other that that, it's fantastic.

Does anyone know what type of glass the "Xiaomi mi A2 lite" uses? I've been searching on multiple sites and KZread videos to no avail! Even at the Xiaomi website, there is no specification about the screen glass type 🤨! Please, let me know if you have any information about it! Thanks

It is not Gorilla Glass; Most likely Xiaomi have used sort of a tempered glass. I have mine with a tempered glass on top and it is hard to say how durable the screen is in reality.
