Is there a speaker in the notch area like a regular cellphone?

Thought this was IPhone XR, notch, no fast charge, but saw it has better screen specs, bigger battery, headphone jack, memory expansion, non proprietary USB, and a family of five can each have phones for cost of one IPhone. Cheers

Does anyone know what type of glass the "Xiaomi mi A2 lite" uses? I've been searching on multiple sites and KZread videos to no avail! Even at the Xiaomi website, there is no specification about the screen glass type 🤨! Please, let me know if you have any information about it! Thanks

What smartphone manufacturers don't get is that there are so many customers who want a compact device. It really bothers me that the smaller phones (like the Mi A2 Lite) have lower specs, and the big display phones (like the Redmi Note 6 Pro) have better specs. Sure I'd like to have the higher specced phone, but in my case the Redmi Note 6 Pro is not really an alternative because it's too BIG! Give me the Mi A2 Lite with RN6Pro specs and I would buy it, even for the same price! But again, they just don't get it. Currently I'm using the Redmi Note 4, but it's a bit too bulky and laggy for my taste. So I wanted to buy the Mi A2 Lite, but hey, it's got the same SD 625 processor as my almost two-year-old Redmi Note 4. So no improvement processor-wise nor camera-wise. I've compared tons of phones (watched all of your videos, thumbs up!) over the last couple of months but there is always a key feature missing in every phone. No notification-led or bad battery life or lousy camera and so on. Is it so hard to build a phone with a decent camera, good battery, a processor on let's say SD 636 levels, 4 GB RAM, AND with the dimensions of the Samsung S9 for 200-250$ ? Well, it seems so.

Redmi note 4 and mi A2 lite both has sd 625.but definitely RN4 is laggy... I m using mi A2 lite.. its fucking awesome for its price.you won't regret

Loving the phone so far is things seem to fly with stock Android and the SD625! Going to try updating to pie with the VPN trick. BTW, huge honour to meet you today Alex...keep up the great work!!

Well, there's the Mi A1 and Moto G5 Plus... Which yes, 1 year less Update Support on Mi A1 and Slow Update on G5 Plus. But, then again. The both are pretty cheap and yet kinda has the Spec.

@@tilikumtim5562 Well, since you said Performance, Camera and Battery Life is Important to You. Then, obviously the Redmi Note 6 Pro is better on almost all of those aspect. Cuz Redmi Note 6 Pro uses SD 636 Chipset, a bigger Aperture on the Main Cam and higher Pixels on the Selfie Cam than the Mi A2 Lite (Mi 6X). But, battery however isn't gonna be much of a difference cuz they both have 4000mAh Capacity. Especially, since both Pure Stock Android and Mi UI are good at Battery Optimization.

I am using it right now. It is decent for a casual user and it works really well. Plus it is an Android One device. Last week there is a news that other part of Europe can upgrade to Pie officially. Some of the members of the group here in Philippines tries to get one by using vpn and it works.

with the charging is not true mine wtih the charger from the box charge in 1 hour and 40 minutes from 10 to 100% and i have the 3 gb ram variant and i dont have problems when i have many apps opened and in pubg rarely lags for a second

Great phone! Mine started acting funny after 3 weeks, but GearBest has a 45 day money back rule. Replaced it with the regular A2 which is great, but smaller battery. Was on sale for same price. Both fantastic phones. I'd recommend either one. Why Xiaomi didn't combine the best features of the two I don't know. That phone would have been unbeatable in the "budget" range.

@@gregdalton3517 yes they could easily make it - a2 lite with a more powerful cpu like the 660 from the A2 (even though it runs v well on stock android), nfc and maybe the camera from the A2 also.

Great phone....only wish it ain't stock Android....I miss miui....

I think now a days there is many phones in reasonable prices which we can afford and with excellent specs.

My friend had one of these, but unfortunately he smashed glass on it, LCD still works though. But yeah, it is a decent phone for the price. We played PUBG on it and it was not that bad, so it should be enough for casual user, I guess. One big plus for it are regular updates.

I'm writing from my mi a2 lite right now ,this phone is the bomb! I'm literally overusing my phone for like 12 h straight the battery last with ease 12+ h of screentime ,the camera in daily light is amazing as he mentioned in the video it's true on night it's kind of not that great depends how dark it is . Overall a GREAT PHONE ! I GOT MY 2nd hand 1 month old without any scratches or whatsoever for 125 euros 4gb version 😁

Format the sd card as internal storage and please discuss the "external storage stopped" Problem

That means that you will be able to install apps on the SD card, therefore not being limited by the internal storage of the phone.

I understand what that means sir I mean did you continue with the process. I have the phone for a week now I plugged in the sd card and this issue appears "external storage stopped" When proceeding with formating as external storage. And it's common online

I just got this one for free. My friend smashed screen on it some time ago, and he just gave it to me, since he got another phone. But yeah, I'm going to fix it up and use it as a backup phone, since it's not too bad.

Isn't the difference that this one runs Android one and the redmi 6 runs miui?

Redmi note 5 2018 then yes its better if you can like miui.. but if you want stock android and fast update go with a2 lite.. but note 5 has better camera and newer chip..

Using the a2 lite...great phone....but I gotta say, the I miss using miui.....stock Android is annoyingly simplistic......it's boring..

though it's battery is very good but it took 1.5 years live only XIAOMI MI A2 LITE батарея продержалась всего полтора года, хотя вначале нормально было - свободно 2-3 дня среднего пользования (без игр)

Phones dont only need power while the display is turned on. Batteries drain 24/7 depending on connection and individual use!

The reviewer recommends getting the Redmi Note 6 Pro as it's basically the same phone as the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite but the Redmi Note 6 is not an Android One phone.

this phone has very bad FM radio[cameras too are not good,especially selfie camera].sometimes it catches one radio station,sometimes it doesn't.but when it catches the radio,the sound is very poor and it is pain to listen.so it is not that good phone for price[230euros].I've bought cubot r9[70 euros] for friend and the radio works fluently and confidently.so why xiaomi installs the[crappy] radio that can't work properly and prices it's products so high?

Best budget phone: Probably But that 5 mega pixel front-facing camera is terrible. Its basically like a Nokia X2-00 back- facing camera. 12 pixel back camera isn't the best but when my lil bro grows older he could work with that tbh. Everything else isn't too cliche but the price is still quite fascinating.

in day the picture looks great, but night thumbs down!

NO. Hell no. I had mi a1 with sd 625 and mi a2 lite with same cpu and mi a2 lite is slower about 30, animations are so lazy. Display protection is awful, its got scratched just in pocket and normal use. Side, top and bottom are made of plastic. To much heat when play games, on mobile data or wi fi. Notch is to big. Android one is just to boring, and only advantage over miui is newer google os updates and other is far on miui side. Sound and display are ok. Not worthy of buying for me. I just have felling that this phone is made from extra parts in storage and put on market
