You should stand your ground and continue riding and avoid police. People has to protest against bureaucrats sitting in their chair and oppressing people with useless laws. Police should ignore and be on citizen side.

Pocket Rocket AKA the 1S. I got told by a copper "if I'm in a bad mood I'm taking it off you" that being said even he thinks they should be legal like e bikes (mixed messages) us e scooter riders are in a kind of legal purgatory at the moment...
