Xiaomi is doing a great job working with leica for those colors. Every other phone looks almost the same today and this is one of those that stands out.

Those photos look so good! And the overall look of the device is pretty nice, especially with that grip. I'm willing to bet that we'll be able to get it cheaper in a few months, and it will really be one heck of a deal. It's the kind of things that makes me hesitate before buying an Iphone 15 Pro actually.

I've got the mi 14 ultra global out of the box ...and it's so gorgeous, so detailed, so precise colors, the IA with the zoom after 30x is so impressive. Even without ota improvement for photo, this product is killing the game...

I must say i am very impressed with the colour science of leica make the photo as real as it can be not overprocessing at all. Did you get any OTA update from xiaomi yet? If not then they must have pushed the update to fix the front camera blownout issue and make it perfect photography camera phone.

The Leica look will most certainly be foreign to most people who are used to the processed look of most other smartphones. The image outputs look more comparable to my Sony RX100 than to my Pixel - with a touch of color. Thats the first thing I noticed. So I'd say, the Xiaomi 14 series will be more of a stylistic choice for those who like it, rather than a process-to-process decision. What impressed me the most from your other videos is how this phone is fast enough to freeze a moving wheel in frame.

Have it since yesterday and so far i am impressed. Not overprocessed garbage pictures. More like a real camera. The camera kit is actually insane. I was able to put my 67mm polarizer on it and work like its a real camera. Would apple do stuff like that everyone would go insane.

For better quality video There is Motioncam Pro , it can do 14bit log video on 14 u. the video quality is near mirrorless quality.

Unfortunately still can not using extend lense, hope could same like others mirorless camera can using lense leica, canon, or etc with fullfraame.

I love this phone so much but's too big for me so I stick with Xiaomi 14 but I envy that 5X telephoto as Xiaomi 14 only does have the 3.2 X zoom.

I love that it has same MP across the board. Samsung is just so slow in updating the camera hardware other than the main sensor. Hope they will actually feel threatened by this so that they can improve faster.

Looking at other reviews, vast majority of people seem to prefer the photos from Vivo X100 Pro. Looks like they have gotten so used to all those unnaturally processed photos on social media. As Nikon user, I prefer the photo from Xiaomi. I currently have Chinese rom 13 Ultra. I've pre-ordered global 14 Ultra. Waiting for delivery.

I don't understand one thing, the images get processed with Snapdragon CPU and all the Camera sensors on this phone are Sony, and the main lens is Sony LYT-900. So what is the part of Leica here? Is Leica only making a camera app? I honestly don't understand why it's called Leica for?

Leica took part on the image software processing. You're correct, the images will be processed by the snapdragon chipset, but it's the software who tells how the images will be processed by the chipset.

Sounds like just set-up business nothing else 😂. I am purely sure this entire image system and processing have nothing to do with Leica 😁but Leica let them use the brand in exchange of money 💰💰💰 the business.

Yeah these nonsense Chinese brands have been playing this type of games for a while now. Indeed it has nothing to do with Leica in any department. Leica is happy with their name being here and makes a bit of money of course 😂 without doing anything just using their trusted brand name 😅 good setup tho.

I'm satisfied with Leica in Huawei devices but no on Xiaomi.

Since xiaomi 10 ultra, Xiaomi has become more powerful. 11 ultra scared iphone and game continues.

It really isn't though. Loads of great features from full compatibility with Android/Google eco-system like chromecast, Google services and Xiaomi integration like device screen share, dual apps, hidden apps, OS themes, secure screen lock, great photography software too ❤

I have to say. I was very disappointed with this device. I have compared this Xiaomi 14 ultra with Vivo x100 pro and today just finishing comparison with the Honor magic 6 pro and Xiaomi can be easy beaten by both.

@dariuszTech you made the same comment on @techspurt video, it depends on how you use the tech, Vivo may look better in smaller sized pictures, but when anything larger it will always play second fiddle to the Xiaomi

I don't get it, in your video you said it impressed you. I agree the Vivo is great, but to come to other videos and say you were very disappointed, was it a paid review?

Xiaomi 14ultra is very good, but there is a problem with heat dissipation. Among several KZread performance tests, it was the only one that could not complete the test and overheated and shut down. Moreover, it was tested in a country with lower temperatures. When used in Malaysia, I think it should return to Snapdragon. At the time of 888, I had already made a reservation, and I planned to lose the 300 deposit and not buy...

Hmm.. Now I'm getting unsure to choose between Honor Magic 6 Pro or this Xiaomi 14 Ultra.. 🥲
