Xian, Tang Dynasty Show - China 2004 Travel Channel
In Xian, we visit the Tang Dynasty Show, which takes place in the theater of the same name. You can combine a visit to the theater with dumpling dinner.
The colorful show tells the story of a concubine at the time of the Tang Dynasty, who later became empress herself.
At that time, Xian, known as Chang'an, was the capital of the Chinese Empire. With over a million inhabitants, it was the largest city in the world at that time. Presumably, the story of Empress Wu Zhao (690-705), also known as Wu Zetian, is told here. She is said to have slowly poisoned Emperor Tang Gaozong.
She murdered her firstborn son and several people, yet she seemed to have been popular with Buddhists, the secret police, and large sections of the people.

In Xian besuchen wir die Tang Dynasty Show, die im gleichnamigen Theater stattfindet. Der Theaterbesuch kann mit einem Dumpling Dinner kombiniert werden.
Die farbenprächtige Show erzählt die Geschichte einer Konkubine zur Zeit der Tang Dynasty, die später selbst Kaiserin wurde.
Zu jener Zeit war Xian, unter dem Namen Chang'an, die Hauptstadt des chinesischen Reiches. Mit über einer Million Einwohnern war sie damals die größte Stadt der Welt. Vermutlich wird hier die Geschichte der Kaiserin Wu Zhao (690-705), auch bekannt als Wu Zetian, erzählt. Ihr wird nachgesagt, den Kaiser Tang Gaozong langsam vergiftet zu haben.
Sie ermordete ihren erstgeborenen Sohn und eine Reihe weiterer Menschen, trotzdem schien sie bei Buddhisten, der Geheimpolizei und in weiten Teilen des Volkes beliebt gewesen zu sein.

Auch uns hat die Tang Dynasty Show auf Grund ihrer Farbenpracht und den dynamischen Bühnenbildern, sowie der schönen, wenn auch ungewohnten Musik sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben in Peking auch eine chinesische Oper gesehen, aber die war für unsere Ohren doch etwas schmerzhaft :-). Wir hoffen, dass es Elisabeth wieder besser geht und sie auf dem Weg der Genesung ist ! Alles Gute Euch beiden und eine wunderschöne und glückliche Zeit wünschen wir Euch!!!

@@myvideomedia *_Hi Günther, in Singapur beim Neujahrsfest gab es eine Mittelgroße Bühne auf einen Platz, wo Werbung für die chinesische Oper gemacht wurde._* *_Dort wurden kurze Ausschnitte vorgestellt, obwohl es sicherlich vor 20 Jahren war, habe ich es nicht vergessen ... mehr als schmerzhaft :-)_* *_Danke der Nachfrage, Elizabeth hat das Schlimmste hinter sich. Der bösartige Tumor in der Brust und die befallenen Lymphknoten wurden entfernt._* *_Nach mehreren MRT(9x) und CT(3x) wurde nichts mehr gefunden. Trotzdem muß Sie eine leichte Chemotherapie machen zur Sicherheit, dauert bis in den Sommer._* *_Die erste Behandlung hat Sie gut überstanden, ohne unangenehme Nebenfolgen._* *_Eine Perücke haben wir gestern auch schon gekauft, der Haarausfall ist auch bei einer leichten Behandlung nicht zu vermeiden._* *_Laut Ärzten wird Sie vollkommen Gesund, was Sie ja auch jetzt schon ist._* *_Wir wünschen Euch auch alles GUTE und eine schöne Zeit_*

Hallo Richard! Vielen Dank für diese positive und optimistische Nachricht! Wir freuen uns, dass es berechtigte Hoffnung für einen optimistischen Blick in die Zukunft gibt! Das mit der Perücke verstehen wir zwar, aber wir haben auch gelesen, dass ein kahl rasiertes Frauenhaupt im Moment auf Instagram gut ankommt :-) Aufgrund solcher Ereignisse wird einem erst wirklich bewusst, wie kurz das Leben ist.
