The modern world often makes us feel like we need to be worrying about something or accomplishing something at all times. "Get busy, you! No time for now, now isn't good enough! Things need to change!" the world shouts. Our hearts barely have time to unclench. But reminding ourselves that, before all that busyness outside, we are, in fact, alive. We deserve every moment possible to embrace that fact. And I'm so grateful that there are artists in this world like Kokubo-san that recognise this simple yet essential truth and remind us of it through their art. Thank you for posting!🙇‍♀🙏

This popped up in my YT recommendations today; have added it to my saved list of his other recordings. So grateful for this healing music in our otherwise chaotic world.

Fresh Green Walk gives me the same vibe like its 2012, old android morning alarms you can hear in your mums room as youre waking up in the morning and the light is shining thru the windows while you are downstairs, you open the TV guide and open cartoon network waiting for someone to wake up so you can get breakfast cuz youre too small to make it yourself lol. good times man

This is heavenly, Kokubo is truly a master of ambient composition. This is very different from a lot of his other works though, like the Ion series. I really feel where he's taking the piano in these songs, I love that he gives an almost vocal like quality, it's amazing hearing a piano being used to take the lead as in some of these tracks. It's unlike anything I've ever really heard before and I'm sure that in a few hundred years, he's going to be remembered like Bach or Chopin. It's amazing to think some of us live in the same time line as him, we're truly blessed that we're alive to hear his music. Thank you for the upload! :)
