XG is a Japanese girl group living in South Korea and Japan as they travel back and forth. They are inspired by K-Pop, Japanese, and western artists. Their label, XGALZ, call them X-Pop. They can sing, dance, and rap. They were thoroughly trained for about 7 years. Their goal is inspire younger generation and break down stereotypes. Beside their main songs, they also have extra contents. They show their dance skills with their XG Moves series. They even have their dance practice videos for their songs which they will do live. With their XG Tape, they do mixtapes. With their XG Vox series, they do cover songs of other artists like TLC. Check out their R&B song, Winter Without You. Their sound is mostly R&B Hip Hop inspired by late 90s early 2000s. The group is comprised of 4 rappers (Jurin, Harvey, Maya, Cocona) and 3 singers (Chisa, Hinata, Juria). All released songs are in English, but the Tapes and Vox lab songs can be in 3 languages and if the captions aren’t baked into the video then you are better off looking for lyrics cuz the auto generated captions are garbage, but with the baked in captions they don’t translate the Korean or Japanese so you will have to look up translation for those… oh and in the future when Harvey says Amy she is talking about herself, that’s her first name Harvey is her family name. They also call their music Xpop for several different reasons, so not J or Kpop

It's a 7 member girl group. They're all Japanese. They don't consider themselves Kpop. More like Xpop with a focus on hiphop and R&B. And eventhough they trained in Korea, promote out of Korea, and speak fluent Korean, they sing and rap in English which is their 3rd language.

For the people saying its not kpop, they need to understand kpop isnt a genre..its an industry. There are rap, rock, hip hop, metal kpop songs. So yes this is technically kpop because they work with the Korean music industry. Also saying they aren't kpop because they are Japanese doesnt change anything, most kpop groups have Japanese,thai and chinese forginers on them, it's not something new at all. It's the best kpop girl group I've seen so far tho
