I don't think you need to worry about the fans ageing out, XG has a large age range in their fandom, tons of us in our 30s,40s,50s, because they not only are very talented, they also hit that amazing 90s/20s era music vibe, that so many of us love.

the amount of talent packed into XG is insane. they should be the biggest girl group on the planet now for real. they can do anything at an elite level. To do Woke Up and just flip the switch and do Winter Without You is crazy. you should check out "XG MOVE #3" one of their early dance crew videos. Its short but its FIRE

So glad you found XG! You've become an official ALPHAZ, you actually know some of the name already! Famous, when you get far enough in and start with the dance videos, you will realize that you've never really seen dancers in sync before. You think you have but....

The one thing I will say is never underestimate what these girls can do, and keep in mind this currently the only group (and first) under the XGALX label that Simon created, so we will see how it goes moving forward but the point is XG does not fall into the drama category that all these other groups fall into, everything about them is new fresh and solo breaking industry standards/stereo types, their bond is unmatched and family like which is why I believe they are here to stay

Winter Without You * Chisa Yelling - recreates a scene from Love Letter (1995) Japanese movie where characters husband is lost and never found in a snowstorm in the mountains. She goes there to yell out to him "How are you?". She replies to the echo. "I'm doing fine.", knowing the echo is the only response she will ever get. * Girls crying - they surprise each of them with a video message from their family who they really have not seen for 5+ years during their training. * This XG original song is a unique Christmas gift to us Alphaz and the World.

XG is one dangerous group. I’m so glad you’re putting the pieces all together their inspirations are all the artists that you mentioned. I’d agree that their vocals aren’t on par with the power houses you named but I feel like they’ll get there with how hard they work.

I haven’t listened to a Christmas song on loop since TLC’s Sleigh Ride… Until XG. They are so nostalgic while still bringing something new & relevant. Some other great GG they remind me of is TLC forsure, Blaque & 3LW

Here it comes the truth 😂XG is one group BUT they could split into two groups too subunits and so on the rappers and the r&b singers😅 as you can watch in this MV BUT….they have some poping songs too witch makes me nervous when people who are into hiphop could realize it 🥹by the way they are under the influence of TLC and big and iconic groups back in the days 😀

You made some great points. And yes Simon created and trained them to be able to do each discipline at a high level. Doing rap and R&B has brought a lot of international fans, especially cause they sing in English unlike Kpop and Jpop who add a little English.

Trust my guy, Chisa and Juria got those notes and can give you those runs. Chisa is raw vocal power. Most of the time she's holding back because the songs don't need her to go that hard. And Juria is like honey in your ear. I promise. Then there's Hinata's voice that is perfect for blending the other 2 and it's just right for pop and alt-pop joints. I know you focus on the hip hop but check out more of their vocals. Vox 5 and Vox 6. These young ladies are elite vocalists. Nice reaction ✌🏾
