The First Take don't do auto tune. The show is straight up live vocal. You could literally hear their foot step when they approached the mic.

I don’t think he was taking about this live performance. He was referring to the official song. They do use autotune on Jurin’s first part in the song as a stylistic choice. I personally would have preferred they didn’t, since you can hear live that it sounds better to me without it, but the song still slaps regardless.

jurin has a unique metallic voice tone, first take won't actually apply autotune effect. It's instruments/MR + vocals

XG and other artists actually mostly do live performances even when dancing or performing. What makes some artists become nervous or very serious doing "The First Take" is because the rule is the artists only have the first and basically one take. No redo allowed. XG do live vocals in their concerts but you can see their a littke bit serious here due to the fact that they only have one chance.

If you watch their behind the scenes and documentary you will see that this song was born 5 years ago in the ATL.

It's all live with high quality sound, not auto tune or background vocals. This song has background vocals at several points, mainly blended " oooooh" sounds, but they aren't allowed here, all singing must come from the live singers/live mics.

glad you reacted to this first take video! it’s crazy how they divide the song up and there are parts where you would think all of them are singing at once but it’s actually maybe 3 or 4 singing and then it alternates to the other 3-4. the song is just so well done. and i agree i like seeing a performance like this where you don’t have the distraction from the music video visuals. BUT their music videos are still 🔥🔥 and im going to watch them regardless 😂😂 hopefully you check out some of their vlogs, behind the scenes or labs videos. thanks again 93!!

Very Nice Reaction, The First Take they have obviously only one take to get it right, they do 2 songs so there should be another coming out, I am very interested to see which is the 2nd song, if they do Winter Without You Live that could be so amazing.

Now you should check out the dance practice fixed version for this song, for each of their songs except Winter Without You there are dance practices where you will get to see how they will be performing it on stage, FYI their stage performance is insane

They actually do alot of adlibs when they perform, and I can recall Maya and Harvey leaving a good impression
