HINATA is not very comfortable with her English that's why she isn't featured as much. She does however do a lot of the adlibs. She is definitely getting more comfortable you can hear it in later music. Next album I'm sure you will more lead parts from her. Mya is really the only one who took English speaking classes prior to trying out for the group. HINATAS TIME IS COMING THOUGH! CAN'T WAIT!(Bart Scott)😂

I agree. Winter Without You and Puppet Show. She's grown so much in the last songs they released.

Simon, the producer, did an interview saying that they wanted to go with quality over quantity for the music video, so they wanted it to be concise and powerful.

Hinata has steadily grown into her own and is getting more lines with each song. I think her strongest showing to date is Winter Without You. I have 2 special requests: 1. Deep Dive into XG Move videos 1-4: Move 2 actually has a video for each member. 2. XG Vox 1-5: these showcases strictly highlight the 3 vocalists of the group, though Maya has made a case at this point to be their fourth vocalist, but to be truly honest all 7 got it!!

@@AuntieNina68 absolutely love that video and performance!! Love how she is effective at showing a lot in a short span of time, and I do wonder what her true dance range is. Also have her VOX in my head as well, Hinata’s voice is so peaceful and calming, she really takes you there!! 🥰

In my opinion Hinata is the balancer of this group her presence is just enough even she has less lines she's still stand out because of her charisma & charm 🔥💎

I also recommend both the ASL & Dance Practice versions of this song.

would definitely recommend the ASL first then the dance practice. You'll notice they use sign language throughout the entirety of their dance choreo. It's phenomenal and shows their passion to not just breaking boundaries across genres and countries, but also how people consume music in general. @@MADEIN93REACTS

Crazy fact: XG isn't liked in South Korea much... XG was tryna go to one of kpop shows/award shows there but they wouldn't them let be invited and a lot of Blinks(Blackpink Fans) be throwing shade/start drama with XG/Alphaz idk why.

My theory why they didn't do the entire song is because that music video looked hella expensive to make with what they had and just cut out all of the raps to save money. All of that cgi must've taken a lot of man power to do also. If you do live stage performances, check out the inkigayo recording as a sample of their live shows. it's exhausting to watch them. Also their dance practice is dope but they're not actually singing while dancing in that video.

Yeah I think that’s exactly why! There was an interview with Simon their manager and he said they went for quality over quantity so I think you’re absolutely right!

I totally agree with what you just said about Hinata. She’s my bias and I feel like she doesn’t get as much exposure like the rest of the vocal line. Sometimes it seems like her lines are an after thought compared to Chisa and Juria who get the majority of the singing lines. I hope to see her blow up more and get more time to connect with her fans in their future endeavours as a group❤❤ VOX XGLEE is where it’s at🌸

I saw an interview with them a while back and Hinata explained that she wasn’t very confident with her English (it was around the time Mascara released I think) but that she is studying and practicing very hard to get it right. She is steadily getting more and more lines with each song though, she features more in Puppet Show and Winter Without You so I think her confidence is growing ☺️ don’t worry friend Hinata’s time is coming ❤️☺️☺️☺️

In Tippy Toes and Mascara I thought she was so mysterious and more of a visual but with Shooting Star and Left Right, then the album? She’s completely won me over and I’m so excited to see her future unfold for everyone to gawk and fawn over.🌸✨🌸 HI-CHAN 4EVER🥰

As everyone else has said in the comments they usually let the girls shine in duos or individually whether it be VOX tapes for vocals, XTAPES for the rap line or their MOVE videos for dancing. Loved the reaction as usual

Since you’re a photographer, I thought you might this video. Simon asked a photographer he admired to direct this video. It’s the photographer’s first ever music video. I think each frame was well thought out.

Felt the same way that Hinata is the least showcased in their songs. She does do a lot of the chorus and harmony work, but doesn't get the vocal parts Juria and Chisa get. I remember reading awhile back that she wasn't very comfortable with her English and thought maybe that's why?

Agree. This was the Live version performed at "Head In The Clouds" concert in NY earlier this year.

I have seen several professional dancers comment that they have never seen such complex choreography with chairs in GRL GVNG. Please check out the Dance Practice version. And I appriciate if you check out the ASL（Sign Language）version as well. I fell in love with XG finally just after I watched the ASL version of GRL GVNG.

Check out VOX #4 ft. Hinata. Her voice is super vibey and they picked the perfect song for her. You can also hear her voice more clearly on the recent First Take they just did for Winter Without You.

The dance practice for this song goes HARD

They've mentioned in their documentary that they had to cut the mv short as it was hella expensive! They wanted to showcase this particular mv as more of a cinematic take, hence the intense cgi edits.

They’re something extra though! They aren’t like most K-pop groups, they’re sound is far more edgy and I can think of a few of their songs that I think you’d really enjoy.
