XG is a 7 members global Hip hop and R&B group from Japan. That's why they sing in english. Their producer has said that they're not kpop or J-pop, but they can speak japanese, english and korean. Also, they're from a japanese company.

Not to mention this is a XG is new territory their a global girl group from Japan this is new for their team as well so this is completely different from KPOP. Not to mention black pink wouldn’t be as big if it weren’t for group like 2ne1 that came before. They walked so black pink could run run run. But CG doesn’t really have predecessors so for them to be doing this well already is astonishing
