Haven't watched the wheel of time yet cause I think I want to finish the series first before diving in, idk. I only just started book 8 on audio version, so I'm kinda conflicted on that if I should finish it first before watching. Though by that time, the whole first season should be out.

Halo has probably eclipsed that. Microsoft is most likely letting F5 have it's time to shine. What a great time to be a Xbox gamer.

Jeff should do the game awards in January so that way every game from the previous year has a fair shot

Am I missing something here ? Forza horizon 5 does not make it in the game of the year nomination because of not enough time to review it, but makes it in the best racing category ? What's gives ? If there is not enough time to review it surly it can't make it in any category no ?

Yeah, you are right. They don't care about awards it's just 3 second without any celebration for the categories. Fh5 absence, SoT not in ongoing and DLC nomination, Kanu Reeves in performance, Cyberpunk in narrative and so on...

First couple days I didn’t mind the battle pass but after the first weekend I’m done playing until 343 respects my time and change the progression.

It seems that Halo multiplayer and campaign are really great. The question for me is, how much does that have to do with Joseph Staten. Did he just make the cherry on top or did he change a burger into a cake?

I haven't played halo for a while

Gaming in general is a younger medium. But some games like God of War, Red Dead, & The Last of Us show what masterpieces they can truly be.

Metroid Dread getting nominated honestly illustrates how skewed the entire industry and jury are. By all accounts it's great game, and I don't dispute that.... But when things like Ori are overlooked or Idk... Hollow Knight it's pretty clear it should the jurors are voting based off nostalgia and preference for a singular type of experience.

Or maybe Metroid was an amazing game? Maybe it is better than Hollow Knight and Ori? Not trying to be rude or anything, but I’m not buying this narrative of “nostalgia” for Metroid that sometimes gets pushed from people. I love Forza, thought it should have been nominated, but this attack on Metroid Dread because it’s Nintendo just doesn’t make sense.

@@matthewmedina6170 Not attacking Metroid Dread. It looks great, and as I said I haven't played it. (Yet) I only have secondary information, but everything I've seen read and watched on it shows that it's really just more Metroid. Which is great, but Hollow Knight actually pushed the genre forward as many other Metroidvanias have in the absence of Metroid. It's just a popularity contest at the end of the day. The Metroid name is bigger some more people played Metroid therefore more people voted for Metroid. I probably didn't articulate my point well and I'm probably still not, but I am willing to bet that if we took the Metroid Dread game and change the name to something else and changed the character sprite it wouldn't be getting nonimated for GOTY.

I think as far as Halo Infinity is concerned it would be better if they change the way you can customize your Spartan just a little bit differently for instance if you compare it to Halo MCC you're able to change your character Spartan gender male to female and back and forth I don't know why that's not even the thing they have a body type which doesn't really appear to do much of anything I don't like the fact that you're very limited to the colors of your emblem and how you can customize your emblem it's very limited compared to also Halo MCC I think that should change that I don't know why there's even a battle pass at all why can't they be there using the ranking system of Halo MCC as well but at the same time they can still give you the option to purchase it via Michael transaction the way that they already have that set up other than that for the most part I give Halo infinite five stars.

Wait, did Jez really play through the whole game?? How lol, I thought it was only a preview build of the game.

Rand Rand Rand. The first episode was the best. It had something you could actually care about. A thing called action. The other episode was the dumb story building. Dumb things like stay together inside where it’s safe and don’t touch anything. There words. And what do they do. Each of them eventually Wonder off on their own after waking up. If I hear a noise and everyone else is sleep I wake up one or two people to tell them I heard something I’m going to investigate. Nope the person wakes up and just goes outside to look around and no one knows because he didn’t tell anyone or wake them up. I can tell it’s going to be a great story. And you’re worried about the action in the first episode. That episode made the most sense bad guys attacking people, fight. The rest are like we think we are cleaver. We’re going to stay don’t do something but they will do it anyway. Great story telling. Not. I’ll watch on to see if it gets better but I don’t have high hopes. Everyone wants to be a game of thrones, lord of the rings or a Harry Potter.

Halo campaign sounds epic but very short like 12 hrs complete short 😒

bro i would love a game about what rand described. 😳😳😲 a dad racing in a festival to earn money for his kid or a dude racing because he owns million to a mafia but of course the guy that made the festival doesn’t know that

I hate capture the flag in any game so being forced to play it in Halo really puts me off playing as we can't choose what game type to play ( love all the other modes).

Who was in charge of the battle pass system? 😂. It's terrible. I've been sweating it because I want the cosmetics but it is truly awful. Challenges should be a side option to top up your core XP. How can you not be rewarded for winning games, completing objectives and getting kills?

Agree its terrible. Honestly cant believe this system even got out of the idea phase. Also, 343 knew from the flights that ppl hated the system and doubled down on it. Now, its going to take a good amount of time to fix this system if theyre going to. This challenge only system will probably remain for all of season 1 (6 months) bc im not sure awarding XP for all kinds of things like kills, objective, etc., is an easy fix.

Yeah, mentioning the boss encounter WAS NOT cool...ijs. NOT cool. I love your content nevertheless.

I used to blame Activision as well. But seeing what Bungie have done with their independence makes me think they were very much a willing partner.

Just turned on my Series X that’s connected to my LG CX after the latest Series X software update 18/11/21 and I’ve got no audio and the settings are telling me my tv doesn’t support 4K. Why, why why why fucking why does this kind of thing happen fairly often with this console? Why can’t Microsoft (the software company) manage to produce a software update or actually fix their UI. I’ve had it since launch, I’ve also had PlayStation 5 since launch and not once in an entire year have I had to reset the PlayStation 5 after literally just switching it on. Not once has my PlayStation 5 turned on and displayed shit all squashed up in 144p resolution. Not once has my PlayStation 5 switched on and had no audio. Not once has my PlayStation 5 controller randomly switched itself off during gameplay because the firmware is royally fucked. So not only do Sony produce better first party exclusives than Microsoft, they also do software updates and UI better than Microsoft. A UI that doesn’t shit the bed every now and again. How is it that Microsoft, the software company, cannot do software updates or a solid and robust UI? It’s fucking insane

Don't forget, Xbox had a marketing deal in place with Elden Ring right up until it's debut, which mysteriously disappeared from an Xbox show and a few days later headlined a Keighly event. I do not like that dude, and I do not trust him. He's shady af and can't stop himself from plastering his face all over everything he can in the gaming space. He's also an EXTREMELY (and admittedly) biased Sony fanboi.

It's common knowledge that if you join Activision or EA your company will be chewed up and ruined just like so many before you. Damn shame that EA didn't let Viceral Games make Dead Space 3 like they wanted to with isaac and his paranoid imaginary self as player two. EA butchered that game and so it wasn't the grand finale game it could have been. DICE is now feeling what it's like to have EA destroy their once great company.

Microsoft should boycott Geoff Keighley and his stupid awards show. The game awards is totally predictable and bias is really strong in these awards shows

I love halo but I'm sorry call of duty vanguard multiplayer is way better then halo infinite multiplayer!
