Stressed, depressed, heads a mess, pressure building on my conscience, can feel it in my chest, No rest, must confess I know I’m gifted and blessed but I put myself through hell and never less, Running out of options, making checker moves in a game of chess, Drink away my sorrow, all my happiness is borrowed, day to day life addictions got me in chock hold, My addiction rising, but I'm sinking deep, been asking for help, but I ain't heard a peep, No rest for the wicked, so I never sleep, cause sleep becomes eternal when I'm resting in peace, 6 feet, but that’s not for me, futures not bright when I seek, it’s bleak, It’s black when I sleep it’s nightmares and demons always sneaking on me They creep in my thoughts, ain't welcome and never leave, got me drained through the days and haunted for weeks It’s like Life is already lined up for me, nothing special coming for me, like a drip feeling sick and I know I can’t be, who I really wanna know and know I can be, This life is hands on not hands free, cause I ain't ever have shit handed to me, the left path was wrong cause the right one is where I was planning to be, I took the long way down look at the damage I've reaped
