Good job coach, you tell em. Reffing in most conferences is weak and pathetic. It takes so much away from the game. These old guys get fatigued, tired and blow calls all over the place. Tired of seeing it. I see so many teams get picked on and it sucks.

You tell them coach. I'm with you. Our college refs are worse than junior high refs. Sometimes things look a bit fishy. One game one team had 9 fouls while the other team had 1. So all of a sudden they started catching up the fouls but every one they called did not mean a shooting foul. Go figure. And remember the ref who threw the game for North Carolina against Kentucky.

The media needs to stop reporting on coaches' rants and actually investigate and report on officiating. The inconsistency. Within games and how between games, when different refs decide to ref differently, it affects games. If one group decides to call things closely in one game but another set of refs doesn't in a different game, there is no even playing field. When you KNOW people are getting hammered around the basket with no calls, but refs call a touch foul up top? When you know that too much contact is being allowed that affects plays... Do it in different spots. INVESTIGATE in soccer why officials let too much physicality go. Do it in baseball with strikezones. Do it football with judgement calls. INvestigate. Publish. Expose. And don't fall back on "officiating is tough to do" and "most officials do a great job"

The creighton uconn game was officiated with an advantage to uconn. Create and called for a brutal charge 20 seconds later, a Phantom call. Investigated by the NCAA, FBI ("raided" his house and took his computers), and an infractions panel. They didn't find a thing. Ayton was interviewed 3 times by the FBI about the "$100,000". Nothing. No money changing accounts. No witnesses. The Adidas rep, and main target of authorities caught on wiretap with Miller, even stated Miller did not offer a financial exchange for Ayton's NLI signing. The wiretap conversation wasn't even about Ayton, anyway, which most people mistakenly refer to. It was about Brian Bowen Jr. and how he wanted $100,000. Miller said to the rep, "we can't compete with that" (with Florida). Not in a we-can't-afford-that way... The context is that he wasn't going to pay for a player, and can't compete for a recruit against schools that will pay. The actual facts, confirmed from Book Richardson (Arizona assistant jailed for the issue) himself, is that Book took the cash from the rep for himself. He played the rep. Book had a well known drinking and gambling problem. The whole thing was him just grabbing extra cash for his own pockets. He took a total of around $25,000(?) that he told the rep he'd give to Rawle Alkins in order to have him sign with a certain agent once his eligibility was done, which is illegal. That's why Miller was just given an infraction of "failure to monitor" staff. Can't really babysit your staff 24/7.
