Xabi Alonso has managed to build a squad that are serious title hopefuls. Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong already dazzled last season, but now the team have improved significantly thanks to some top transfers in the summer: Victor Boniface is the man providing the goals - he’s got four to his name already, as well as two assists. Jonas Hofmann also adds bags of quality. After three matchdays, Leverkusen boast the maximum haul of points. The team are fun and exciting to watch.

Leverkusen lost counter attack speed by selling Diaby.. but gained teamwork by buying Hoffman. Sometimes a popular player can't be replaced, but it a new arrival can show new oportunities previously unknown to the team. Contrary case, Xhaka showed what a good 6 should have done in Leverkusen years before (unlike Demirbay, Amiri, Baumgartlinger...) I just hope he stays fit and doesnt get suspended.

Boniface has added a lot of quality to the team. He can hold the ball in the box and shot at close range, good dribbling skill and pace. Others are good signing and have added immense quality to the team. If not for injury, this team can manage top four in the Bundesliga.

As a Gladbach fan I’m gutted to see him doing so well. Remember the rumors that he was going to be our coach only thinking what could’ve happened.

Xabi is a promising and talented manager so I hope that he can stay at Leverkusen for a while so he could established his managerial career first this is due to the nature of many promising managers that they move to big clubs way too soon. There are just too many examples for this Potter, Gerrard and even Solksjaer just to name a few.

No doubt Real Madrid Club de Futbol will get Xabi 'the Tactician' Alonso sooner or Later.❤❤ He understand football than anyone else, like many of footballer who are so great in playing and have a decent Career but many of them are not being a Football genius and not good enough to manages the Football Club but Xabi Alonso knew what he was doing and his ability to be able to read the game really well and his IQ, Knowledges etc makes him so special to manages the Club..

When he left Liverpool, I was devastated. Torres and Suarez not so much. Xabi is by far my favourite LFC player. Leverkusen have got one hell of a talented manager and I wish them success this season.

One thing makes me nervous for Bayer was Granit Xhaka was playing for this Club and he is knoen for not winning and always bottled the Title races when he was at Arsenal, now im just afraid Bayer might also bottled their Title winning chances with Granit Xhaka😂😂 But Lets hope Xabi Alonso will carried this Team for this whole seadon..
