no problem they seem pretty good, I got them all installed, well 5 of the 6 replacing my other older alarms.

great tutorial, but I was wondering why the green tab was not removed? it seems to work without it being removed; isented there for the battery?

that is just a protective film over the top.

I bought the x sense 3 and 6 package but one keeps beeping every 9 mins it might be malfunctioning

Good video Dave, thanks. Wondering if anyone knows if these can be paired to the X-Sense SBS50 base station, to be able that way to get notifications via the phone app. TIA

How high is the right place the smoke go hight but the CMN is milder and down?

they do have placement instructions and recommendations on where to put these and where not too in the packaging.

My screen is blank, is it suppose to be like that?

@@mocharonccup1 oh I see, I just looked at mine and in stand by there is nothing on the screen at all, no lights or indicators, not until you hit the button for testing.

Not wifi capable? Dealbreaker. They need to start making these where we can monitor away from home. Edit: they do have wifi ones. I assume they don't interconnect because of that, but not sure. Guessing you can choose in the Tuya app?

As a cheaper solution, people have been using a single Ecolink Zwave Plus Wireless Audio Detector. You just need to purchase one (since these alarms are interconnected) and place it next to one of alarms. From there, you can add it to a smart hub, i.e. smart things, home assistant, hubitat, and do all the automation and remote notifying you'd need.
