What a great presentation, Mike! Thank you for reminding me of all the countless X-Plane stories I read as a kid, and for adding some interesting stories. Loved it!

Great presentation!
Thanks Betty & Jarel!
Good lecture, great paintings, very enjoyable presentation.
Growing up in Southern California I head them but seldom saw the X planes. The X15 was THE plane in my opinion. Thanks too for mentioning Pilot Engineer Scott Crossfield, one of my childhood heroes.
Love this channel. The best of the best aviation channel.
Absolutely the best presentation!
Incredibly articulate.
I only know about Pancho Barnes from Mark Berents novels. Court Bannister lands near/on her ranch :)
Never knew there was a Sabre with an actual nose instead of one big intake, I see that there is an intake just not a huge one
Joe Engle is the only one left.
Great videos like always but please change the name of of your channel to something more inline with what it is you do. You would get a lot more views so more people could appreciate this history.
@25:13 - No, it doesn't say it beat the Americans by 30mph. It says that it beat it by 310mph !!!
