Don't FORGET! X-Men Legends started what MUA (Marvel Ultimate Alliance) would become AAAND The X-Men STARTED The Marvel Cinematic Universe that the Avengers would be known for👍

That last round against Magneto was hilarious. Magneto outright _refusing_ to get the fuck back down from his flying mode with Wolverine jumping up at him like a dog trying to get a cat up in a tree, and then finally getting comboed so hard by the pissed off Wolverine he got dizzy. This game had some priceless moments at times.

Magnetos entrance is so fucking badass

I love the stage transitions in this game.

This, X-men vs. SF, Marvel vs. Capcom...just amazing games back in the day and the soundtracks were awesome.

Magneto was damn so hard so I stopped playing this game out of frustration back in 90s.

LOL 13:22 Magneto isn't wearing a helmet while sitting in his chair, his helmet appears suddenly when he gets up and disappears again as he floats until the ground. Magneto does appear another helmet in his hand, when reaches the end his boss entrance.

Juggernaut straight spammed that earthquake move.

Player Ready? In this game, Juggernaut is cheap enough that he can beat you within a matter of seconds if you're not careful.

They need to re release this game in a three pack where it's xmen children of the atmo, xmen vs street fighter and marvel vs capcom 2 or why not the entire set of games

Man would I love to see Capcom making awesome pixel art like this again. This looks better today than any of the 3D Marvel vs. Capcom games, and I totally mean that.

Wolverine delivered his win lines with hella sass

94 was an impressive year for fighters. I remember this game, King of Fighters 94, and Killer Instinct.

Always liked the pacing of this game as opposed to the frenetic pace of Marvel vs Capcom series

As a kid and marvel fan, this game blew my mind the first time I saw it in a arcade.

Every time they release a Cap-com vs. X-men I always hope for an upgraded version of this! Not the X-men garbage they’ve been releasing lately.

I remember a guy selling this at a flea market for sega saturn but my mom didn't buy it for me. This would have been too epic to me at that time as a kid being a huge xmen fan. Later I end up getting mk2 on sega saturn which was a shitty port of the arcade smh.

I never played this before, but I definitely need to. My first game Marvel Capcom game was Marvel Super Heroes, I had no idea at the time that there was another Capcom Marvel fighting game before it.

The Doom I was 11 when this came out and I fell in love with it instantly. Magneto was and is one of my favourite Marvel characters and this is his most powerful playable incarnation in any video game. His stage Avalon is a multi-layered masterpiece of design.

Same here bro. The only reason I even went to the laundromat was to play Marvel Super Heroes. I fell in love with that game and I got it as soon as I could on PS3.

Great great game from my childhood. Somehow have ended up with 2 copies of this game on Saturn

If we play this in manual mode, we can make wolverine heal himself during battles - and that's is one of his special powerup skills. Also, omega red who can drain opponent's hp. If you are good psylocke user, you can easily counter any opponent's grab - with a damaging kick.

My favorite X-Men game

Wolverine's attacks seem to do so little damage for someone who gives up range attacks.

That’s cause Logan is a fucking simp. Case in point, the entire Wolverine mini series which was about him trying to get a hot asian waifu only to not get the girl in the end despite taking on the Hand, Madame Hydra and Silver Samurai. But hey, at least he is not as big of a simp as Thanos.

Pretty cool, though as far as I know, Wolverine can't fight Magneto, because Magneto can just rip him to shreds with his own bones. I haven't read many of the comics though.

Wolverine still got some good licks in on Magneto a few times before falling victim to “The Master of Magnetism”.

I wish this game had a reboot. With new characters and new stages

They must have fixed Colossus. I remember in the Arcade I hit him with Drill Claw over and over and he never blocked it

What's your strategy for beating Colossus? He's a brute when I get to him, spams his block ability like nobody's business.

Always surprised me that Wolverine was one of the most low damage characters in this game. Thought they would make him S tier considering his popularity.

So i was randomly looking up youtube videos of fighting games in the 90's and I came across this game and thought "man if I had this game when i was young I would have fell in love !" I look up the game on amazon and see a picture of the disc art and it looks familiar... I look in my PS1 game case and see it right there lmao wow... I bought it for like 3 bucks from gamestop and it was scratchy so I never took the time to play it. PSX games get super slow when they get scratched.

+tekknking the psx version kinda suck honestly. You're better off with the arcade or saturn versions (the pc version is alright but you can't pull off combos at all, which is really stupid)

Edward Gaines You're talking about the comic book Fatal Attractions this game is based on right? I'm not sure why they decided not to add that during his ending. Maybe they thought it was too dark or they didn't want to make the ending seem too long.

Is there a decent port of this game that can be emulated? Or can the arcade game itself be emulated well? Also curious, those who have played this game a lot(I've never played it) do you think it has the depth, nuance and balanced mechanics etc worthy of professional competition? Just curious, not interested in playing it professionally or anything XD Haven't even played it. Just trying to gauge its worth because it seems like it may be pretty awesome from watching some videos.

TheDARKYOSHI64 Thx, I may check it out in the future. Been playing a lot of Guilty Gear Xrd lately(M.O.M mode) Not sure where its leading or if it even has an end but its a fun fighting game. I got a real arcade pro v 4 for Dustforce on the PC but lately I've been using it for GGXXX. I'm better with the stick than I expected to be.

stupaod This game was released on both the Sony PlayStation and the Sega Saturn back in 1996. From what I understand, the Saturn port is more or less identical to the original arcade, right down to Magneto being break-the-controller hard. If you're a retro gamer, I recommend getting a Saturn and this game. If not, the emulated arcade version on MAME is really good and free to play. Google "ROM-World."

I wish exodus was a playable character.
