In the Golden Age of Marvel on film, this was one of the best sequels. The first time we had multiple releases for Marvel-based films in the same year. X2:X-Men United was after Daredevil and before Hulk. Such an incredible progression of story. Most us who knew the comics had an idea of what was coming. Meanwhile, newfound fans who loved the first film could only imagine what was coming. The actions of the gifted, good or bad are magnificently made and nerdgasms for everyone wanting more. But of course, the underline story of discrimination and tolerance in an fantastical world still comes through. The ending did indeed break hearts. But like i said, we as the fans knew what we saw right before credits rolled. X3:The Last Stand (2006) is controversial. You'll have to see for yourselves.

Wolverine was born a mutant with cat like features of quickness, heightened senses and retractable claws like what cats do...his claw bones that he discovered later on were covered with the metal which he thought that's all what it was the metal and not part of his skeleton structure

Jean Grey isn't dead. It was inevitable that she would undergo a change. In the beginning of the film, she admits she had trouble focusing. Bedroom would shake in her sleep, etc. Jean Grey was turning into the Phoenix. You can make out what appears to be a Phoenix gliding over the water at the end of the film. -OG

Famke Janssen wore a pendant during the Smithsonian scene and a custom made jacket in the church scene with Storm & Nightcrawler. Both pieces had a Phoenix. Hard to spot. But it's there.

I’m not sure if it’s still cannon in the comics, but at one point Rogue’s flight came because she held onto a person for too long and killed them fully, stealing their power.

3:21 one of the greatest intros to a superhero film ever! 😁 3:38 also known as 'teleporting' {{ BAMF! }} (the sound of Nightcrawler's teleportation☁) 11:47 that's something to keep in mind as you make your way through the X-Men films 🤔 23:32 such a cool scene showcasing Magneto's powers! He doesn't need a lot of metal to be effective ⚛ 25:24 Rogue used Bobby's (absorbed) ice powers to nullify Pyro's fire powers ❄🔥 27:55 Ahh! 😱She said the thing! She said the thing! 🤣 28:57 the Jean-Scott-Logan love triangle *is* a canon thing in the comics, but ehh...i don't care for it 😅 29:08 Mischevious Mystique 🤭 30:12 and it's quite heartbreaking what happens next.. 😢 32:49 Kelly Hu was awesome Lady Deathstrike, it's a shame they didn't have her say basically anything 😕 41:32 Jean could've *easily* done that whilst *inside* the 'Blackbird' (X-Men's aircraft), but y'know...sequel 🙄

I cant wait to see you react to First Class and X-Men Days of Future Past. But you have to go through the first stages of this saga. X2 is one of the greatest, most impressive superhero movies ever made. Its a bit rocky after this. But it all comes back around with X-Men First Class. And Days of Future Past is probably the best superhero movie ever made.

It would be best if you watched Xmen Origins Wolverine BEFORE last stand (in my humble opinion) In fact it may have been better to have watched it before X2 (again in my humbleopinion) it will make The Last Stand more meaningful. I would like your opinion on this (after you have watched all three of course. There is much controversy on the topic).

The asian woman is based off the original story line of wolverine lady deathstrike she had her body augmented with cybernetics and adamantium because she had a hatred for him believing he was the cause of her father's death not this version... that's what happens when the studio writes the story instead of hiring comic book writers

Hey, Reema! Bryan Singer was clearly building up to one of comicdom's great sagas centered around Jean Grey with that winged shadow glimpsed in the lake! It is called "The Dark Phoenix Saga". Unfortunately, it isn't executed properly even though Fox tried adapting it twice! Maybe Feige will do it right. Nonetheless, "X2" remains a high-water mark in the franchise. It is based on the graphic novel "God Loves, Man Kills". In the comics, Kurt Wagner aka Nightcrawler is the son of Raven Darkholme aka Mystique.
