love your enthusiasm and honesty about Wyze stuff. They should hire you as their spokesman/tech guy.

Haha, I'd like that, but don't think they want someone way out on the other side of the US. They still don't even send me items to review, I've bought every item you see.

Big fan of Wyze, have a few of them. Ordered these last week! For the price you can't find anything better.

Got a 4-pack a couple weeks ago. They're great! And since we already have a Wyze Cam Pan, I didn't need another app on my phone. The work great just like the rest of their products.

@@VolkXue No problems with that. Two bulbs are in an enclosed fixture although that one isn't on for very long.

Good video, Josh. I'm pretty impressed myself. I can't wait till they come out with RGB version. Glad you found those shortcut automations cause they wouldn't be very smart without them.

Yeah they haven’t yet started to sell outside the US but they want to and are working on it so we shall see.

i just ordered my bulb this morning on release date. i got a charge for the bulb but they havent send me an email or order number?the website was really laggy and did not make it to the final order page.

I would just be happy if WYZE can get their cameras to consistently stream on the Google Hub as advertised.....

Sure wish they would their Wyze camera to their light bulb. That would take care of all my weather, power supply and problems making the setup low profile. Come on Wyze, I know you are up to the challenge!

Yup...telephone....your right....missed a word.... The idea is to hide the cam inside a light bulb. I am having trouble running their light duty power supply cable outside. The rats go after it like candy. Wish they would let me do the design work on their next upgrade. That small low power camera offers so many possibilities. Regards

Ken Limbrick oh now I gotcha! Like the LIFX bulb/camera. Gotcha. You may also want to look at lightcam as well both really good products that are what you are looking for. But yeah would be cool if Wyze does it as well.

Can I schedule them to go ON and OFF... say between 8pm & 9pm?

I would love to see a dust to dawn setting to allow me to group 3 exterior lights to turn on and off based on my location and the time of day. What do you think? Could this be done with a IFTTT recipe?

I am thinking you might be able to do that through shortcuts in the Wyze app, but not totally sure. Would have to test that out. IFTTT May have that, but you’d almost need multiple triggers since you want your location and time of day.

You can. Look at weather underground in IFTTT... you can do a "IF weather underground sunrise". Then turn on Wyze bulb. I don't have wyze bulbs. Bought the Kasa smart switch for my garage and front porch light and use the "IF weather underground" then "Kasa"... Hope this helps! :)

O! H! In related news... just got a Feit colored smartbulb (A19) and Sylvania colored spotlight smartbulb. Both for Apple HomeKit and I LOVE them! Apple’s HomeKit makes everything sooooo easy. Now I need to find out how to use my Apple TV 2 as a HomeKit hub. TECHNOLOGY!

That is fine, just dont buy Philips Hue, they are only 800 as well...actually you are stuck with Lifx, which are great but at over $60 per bulb...vs the $7.50 for Wyze bulbs... yeah you can spend all the money and I'll just have twice the number of bulbs and more brightness from the quantity.

I currently have 3 wifi bulbs purchased on ebay. Not sure who the manufacturer is, but In January, I purchased two bulbs for 26.99. These bulbs are 100 watt equivalent and also produce the full spectrum of colors. I always look for devices that are compatible with Alexa and my Smart Life app. I just checked and they are currently available from that same seller. Now that I have purchased Wyze products. Cameras and sense kits, I do have to deal with three different apps for my devices, smart life, wyze and my garadget app. I have 14 smart plug, 4 wifi switches(2 are 3-way) sensi thermostat and my garadget device which all can be controlled by Alexa or phone app Currently I am working on an arduino setup to be able control all my devices. I think I will eventually be able to set up 'if then...' scenarios. I will say I do like the wyze cameras and sensors, although the night vision could be improved. I hope wyze is also working on incorporating devices such as temp & humidity sensors in the future
