Wynton Marsalis and his JALC Orchestra | with Sarah Willis
Музыка
Take the A Train with Sarah Willis as she spends a day in the House of Swing in New York with jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and his Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. The 15 members of the orchestra are considered to be the best jazz musicians in the world.
Wynton Marsalis explains how difficult it is to find musicians for his orchestra who know the history and styles of jazz music and who are able to improvise in all the different styles. On stage, the orchestra members are like brothers: there’s a lot of love among them, but they also get jealous if one individual gets the spotlight. Although they all have strong personalities, they're able to work together harmoniously.
Come along and watch Wynton Marsalis and his wonderful Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra!

Wynton Marsailes on FRENCH HORN?!?!?
...inspirational. Is that a custom vuvuzela on the piano at 2:04? Beyond cool.

Sarah Willis- Wynton Marsailes told you that the trumpets were at the top of the food chain; but I think he was trying to say that the french horns were at the bottom! But maybe not, that's not like him!
