Architects' songs always seem to speak straight to my mind, body and soul haha

Thank you for your reaction guys! It's always nice to hear your thoughts on songs and the matter the song brings to us. There are so many songs recently that make me choke up and tear up on certain lines. It's like Wyatt says, this generation forgot but now it's bouncing back, it's remembering and seeing it happen in art such as music is just so beautiful. And it's in everything. Music, series, film, artworks, it's slowly coming back and it's just beautiful to see. I just can't put my finger on what exactly it is. Gratitude towards life? That's at least what I feel. I was never diagnosed but I was depressed a lot back when I was younger and left that behind somewhere in 2020 even though we had a global crisis with the pandemic going on. It was like a switch flipped for me and ever since, I'm so happy and thankful to be alive that even the small nice things can make me tear up quite easily now. I simply can't get enouh of life right now, it's a very nice state of mind to be in and I can only hope others can find it too.

i've been watching you guys for a few months, and i'm thankful i found this video when i did. i definitely needed to hear that conversation at the end of the video today, i can be overly critical of myself and i think it sometimes leeches on to the way i look at everything else including other people. thank you for what you guys do. love you both

I think the speak in tongues line is in reference to how we all just say shit that doesn’t mean anything. It’s just talking points, blind ideological phrases that get repeated for the sake of sounding important or like you stand for something.

I think there might also be a case to be made about the literal act of speaking in tongues, as in the entire world is burning around us but instead of actually doing something about it, some of us are too busy worshipping a deity who’s not remotely interested in putting a stop to it.

To be fair a global pandemic rightfully causes fear and will take time to heal from its only natural lol, as long as we bounce back from that fear. Don't forget gratitude for us Healthcare workers and all the shit we had to go through lol much love guys! ❤️

I think the speaking in tongues and sounds fading out is a monologue on the idea of the vigor of youth and growing distant to friends / family you were so close with. Which makes sense, cause when you're in school, you're around those people and those friends constantly. But adult life is what separates people. Different jobs, different experiences. So you're 25 and happily married with 2 kids, those experiences are like speaking in tongues with the guy or girl who's single and focused on their career and just living their lives.

The sun is different in different states or countries because of the layer that protects the earth from the sun waves is different when there's more population leading to more pollution. Where I was raised barely has any population and I can tan without having issues with burning but when I went to Florida I fried. Also, make sure you have minerals in your water! Minerals are released when you sweat it out and if you don't replenish the minerals when you drink your water you can still get dehydrated!

"I'm dedicated to the shadow that's been following me, it caught me counting the cards, I guess the rules remain", the shadow is death. Dan, since Tom passed, wants to live the life Tom never got to. Counting cards is a way to beat the card game blackjack and is one of the only ways to actually win money in a casino. It's not really cheating, but it's a way to use the rules of the game to your advantage. Dan is saying him(and Tom) tried to cheat death when Tom survived his first fight with cancer, but death always comes(the rules remain). Such a beautiful song.

North America is undergoing a spiritual awakening and these artists are well in touch with it, as many of us are. IMO this song is Biblical. The divide is wider then it seems is a recognition that the battle is spiritual. The want and work for Good or Evil sets people apart not politics or any other label. The downfall of Satan was pride. We would rather suffer and ask why then have faith that good will win... with responsibility and work for the better. That suffering is worth it. Not having pride in our pain. Giving up our need to complain. And being grateful enough to say thank you God, i'm alive. There is alot of symbolic meaning in this song. Interesting correlation's and powerful stuff. Speaking in tongues is another religious (mostly Christian) reference having to do with prayer and in some circles miracles. Great video. =]
