so the more mellow part (the beginning) is more illenium's style. The part where it picked up right before the scream, that's excision. So they did it in a way where they bleed into each other.

The bird has always represented Illenium and the dinosaurs is Excision

the fact that you guys aren't familiar with Excision and Illenium is aswesome haha. They are both well established and well known in the scene and I prevail should be every bit excited to work with them as the are to work with I prevail. you know a little bit about excision but Illenium is a fucking artist to be recognized. We do not deserve Illenium, anyways hope you enjoy this song as much as I did for some one who likes both Metal and EDM LOL.

So the the bird is actually a Phoenix which represents illenium, and the Trex represents Excision, thats like their own brand, the collaboration is unreal since its 3 of my favorite artisit into one, never thought id see the day, but expect more djs/metal collabs for sure!

I've heard it at Lost Land 2019 last year when Excision and Illenium did a B2B together (B2B = back to back = playing together on stage). It was actually the first time ever they played the song. It was incredibly insane man!

More than DJs, they are Artist/Producers, the First chorus is a melodic bass chorus/Drop, which is a mixture of Future Bass and Melodic Dubstep (sub-genres of Electronic music), which is the signature sound of Illenium (the Pheonix represents Illenium) and the 2nd chorus is a Dubstep/ Riddim Dubstep chorus/drop(another sub-genre of Electronic music), which is Excision's signature sound (the T-Rex Represents him), you should check more of Illeniums music out, its quite euphoric and Excision has a lot of heavy stuff too!

As someone who's been listening to dubstep for ages seeing someone who isn't as familiar react to it is always just as entertaining, great video!

Excision is insane. Favourite Dj for 10 years now. And I mean LOST LANDS

The bird is Illenium and the Rex is Excision.

Kayzo did a full metal/electronic album collab last year with artists including blessthefall, Our Last night, Memphis may fire, Underoath and more. The album is called unleashed. you guys should check it out on your free time. some really good tracks on it.

Check out Before The Storm by Kayzo and BlessTheFall. It’s an edm/metal core combination and I feel like it’d be more your guys Jam. A lot heavier

They have made Gold (Stupid Love) in 2018, Feel Something with I Prevail in 2020, In My Mind with HALIENE, and the remix of Zombie by The Cranberries by ILLENIUM, Excision, Wooli ft Valerie Broussard right before Halloween 2023

@@ethanj5699 I agree, Infidel is a great song too, the whole album is damn good. I just thought that Wyatt and Lindsey would probably really enjoy the heaviness of Float or that awesome chorus in Cauterize. But to be honest, I would be a happy man if they reacted to any of these 3 songs haha.

Illenium is usually more future bass which is more chill and excision is more dubstep so they kind of did one drop for each of their styles. In the music video the Trex represents excision which is the basis for all of his visuals and his music festival, los lands, and the Pheonix represents illenium, it's part of his logo.

For someone like me who lovesss metal & edm it’s amazing with edm (dubstep/riddum/melotic) artist collab with bands it’s the best 😭 especially Sullivan King !!!!! He’s my absolute favorite! He does a lot of metal with dubstep ugh it’s the best

If you guys get the chance, don’t know if someone has mentioned in earlier comments or if you guys have heard of him, but there is a DJ by the name of Sullivan King. Heavily influenced by A7x being why he goes by Sullivan King but he mixes a lot of metal backing tracks and his own original metal backing tracks with his dance and dubstep tracks. Does his own screams on tracks and live and during his live performances he whips out a guitar and is typically a 7-string which actually is custom built by Schecter!! One of the few but in my opinion, the biggest bridge between metal and edm

Big Chocolate collabed with suicide silence and Mitch and big chocolate actually made a deathcore edm album together

Illenium is represented by the Phoenix because he's overcome so much in his life thank god and excision is what a t-rex does. Many artist in edm take there name in the style or sound they make and many use animals.

My birthday is on April 8th and I'ts never been a big deal for me either, it's just another day to me 😂

I think you should break down the song “Talk to A Friend” by the band Slaves. That song or petty trappin would be amazing!

so, the first and third drop was Illenium and the second drop was Excision. The "bird" is the Phoenix which is Illenium brand and Excision is the T-Rex.

If you guys could see this track performed live from either of illenium or excision, you’d see how much more amazing this track is

The Big Chocolate collab was (ironically) with Blessthefall. And I say ironically, as the lead singer is married to Lights, who did the first collab with Bring Me the Horizon. She's Canadian so she also did a song with Canadian post hardcore legends Silverstein.

AND A Day to Remember did that thing with Marshmello.
