WWL-TV Eyewitness News At Noon - Remembering Andre Trevigne (7-27-2015)

Another difficult video.
Poor Eric Paulsen chokes back as much emotion as he can muster as he reminisces his then-departed former coanchor Andre C. Trevigne. Trevigne cemented her reputation when she was the co-anchor of WWL-TV's early-morning newscast, where she, from 1985 to 1992, matched wits with co-anchor Eric Paulsen in sharp exchanges that led viewers to liken the two to the bickering co-stars of the TV series "Moonlighting."

Andre and Eric were the morning new while I was in high school. Used to watch every morning before heading out to catch the bus in the 80s.

Wow, Aaron! I've been away from New Orleans since 1992. I was not aware that Andre' passed away. What a wonderful newscaster and person.

Used to watch Andre, Eric & Don in the 80's while growing up. So sad these talented people that I watch during my childhood are gone like my child hood home & half of the Gentilly Woods/Pontchartrain Park/Pauline Drive/9th Ward are gone.

Moved out of the New Orleans area in the mid 90s. So much gone, K&B, Shweggman's, McKenzie's, Hubig's. Sad to see.

She was beautiful, I remember listening to her radio show with former co-worker, a Nola native as well, he tuned into her show every morning. They should do a biopic about her life.

Your mother was a sweet soul. I reached out to her several years after your later brother passed because I wanted to learn where he was buried. I attended Loyola with Mo. He was so funny and a lively spirit as was your mom. May they both RIP!
