WWIII Team Yankee: Nordic Forces!!! ( my first impressions! )
We've seen the previews, here's one more Video! I just examine the book and add a few good thoughts i had about how to play these forces. The Nordic Forces have a tendency to stand with each other, unless they are also part of NATO.
No "Bork-bork und der Chikken" jokes in the video....
NOTES:
-- my new camera refuses to record, so i had to ad-lib this video.
-- You will have to buy 3 boxes of transports just to play the good lists.
-- Wierdly Norway has no way to ally with Sweden...unless you take the Team Yankee Allied Formation rule literally. So, i guess you can ally with anyone who can take NATO allies...does that include Iraq???
-- Did i remember reading somewhere that the Swedish forest service worked with the army to make sure there were some conveniently placed tree-lines in all the best places?? i forgot....

Great video! Nicely detailed without being over long. Swedes seem like they could be fun.
I actually find those Finnish tanks rather impressive…! They actually have longer range than their Soviet originals, and T-55 actually has one point higher AT. Furthermore, T-72s have ”thermal imaging” and thus with that 40 inch / 100cm range AT22 cannon will be on sniper duty, unless Swedish more expensive s-tanks are taken as an ally platoon. 😅 Alas, the versitile Finnish infantry outshines their tanks… 😅😅😅 Edit: Correction; Three S-tanks are same as 3 Finnish T-72FM1s in points. Pick either glass cannon with stationary two shot AT21 with 8 inch / 20cm longer range than bulkier AT22. 😅
Amazing how BF went to the trouble to show Swedish and Danish Centurions with different AAMGs in the book . Yet the Danes can't use them .

Swedish tank companies...no its not a typo. Each company has an integrated infantry platoon.

look closely, they already have one just to the right of the 4-box. to the left of the recon choice

@@DeadGamesSociety I know they do. You were implying that it was unusual, that there should be a fourth tank platoon instead.

@@vandpubsell Page 42, bottom right paragraph seem to imply they should have 4 tank boxes...unless the HQ at 3x is platoon number 1. It's not clearly stated, and it's easy to imply. That is where i got that from.

@@DeadGamesSociety Yep BF have made the 4th tank plt the HQ , when infact it was just a APC .
