Oh I miss the 90's! This game was one of my favs! Yokozuna was fun to play with hahaha

When this arcade machine first came out, I was working security at a bar that had a small selection of arcade machines tucked out of the way, and me and my buddy were there when it got delivered and we boosted it and got it back to my apartment. No-one at work ever even noticed that we were a machine short, and it was never talked about. I had the damn thing for about 5 years, until I sold it lol. Such a great game.

Best wrestling game ever ,even better than today's games

One of the first games I played when I was a child...and one of my favorites of all time..

They need to make a WWE game with this kind of arcade gameplay. Would be awesome.

At least it wasn't a pile driver. How many kids were seriously injured because of that move. There was a kid that accidentally killed his friend's younger brother with a pile driver. The state of Florida (I am almost certain it was Fla, please correct if I am wrong) tried & sentenced the 15 (again, may be wrong about the age, but he was very young) as an adult.

a place opened up in my town where it has old arcades. i saw this game and put in a Token. i chose Shawn, and i was against 'Taker. i fiddled around with the stick and buttons and Undertaker did this weird Chokeslam teleport move. i was so shocked by how over the top the game was, i got my ass kicked. Then i noticed the game was by Midway. ahhh MK guys made this. i cant wait to go back to the arcade again so i can play again

I absolutely loved all these wrestling games back in the late 80’s through to the mid 90’s there were fantastic takes me back to my childhood :)

honestly, hands down the best annoucing of any wrestling game. It might get a little repetative with the phrases but its smooth and it works

My Cousin and I played this He was Shawn Manshion and I was Undertaker I saw this on TV in the 90's on the SNES Version Yokozuna And Bamelow was left out I know They where on The PS1 Console Version And The 160 Console Version They should have Put Kevin Nash Miguel Perfect Owen Hart and British Bulldog on here as Unlockable Wrestlers to Play as This should have 1 on 1 Battles only and Stage 1 12 where a Final Boss Wrestler can Appear to beat and Unlock It Kevin Nash was on here His Powers would have shown Him turning into a Truck and British Bulldog Would have turn into a Bulldog that would have been fun Fuck PS4 and 460 this can be on Playstation 3 Live and Xbox 360 Live now that's better

@@AFRICNTREEHOCKY The Attitude Era, mid 90's to early 2000 when the WWE was at its peak. The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, The Big Show, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and many others. A roster of 30 would be badass. Maybe unlockable characters like Andre The Giant, Yokozuna, The Road Warriors, and others.

In my country (the Netherlands) every game costed 1 guilder (about 1 dollar)

This game would be great for an arcade tournament.

RIp to the following who appeared here: Doink the Clown Yokozuna Bam Bam Bigelow I would've loved to see Asuka vs. Doink the Clown, Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bam Bam Bigelow and Hideo Itami vs. Yokozuna.

Finally someone that doesn't use Undertaker, not that I don't like The Undertaker, he is my favorite wrestler, but I wanted someone to use someone else for a change and without cheats!

Played numerous number of games since 1990. But this one is still in my heart.

I almost cried watching this, it brings back so many memories. This is the Sega version, I had the Super Nintendo version, it didn’t have Bam Bam Bigelow. Classic game

I use to play it in my childhood with my best friend. Now im gonna share this video to him. I hope he would like it. I feel so nostalgic to see thos game back in 2019.

Admittedly better than the WWE2K series of today. I doubt though if you tried doing this sort of game with today's generation of wrestlers and atmosphere it would work and feel the way this game did back in the day.

Lifebars on the SNES are not better. The huge colorfull bars are the trick to cover the whole upper part of the screen and don't have to display animated crowd in background of the lifebar. Making the active game window smaller conserve computing power. Original arcade game doesn't have such big lifebars, but those similiar to the Sega version. There is also animated crowd dispalyed in the backround surrounding lifebars.

It's like if Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 meet WWF, it's so fucking awesome.

Best graphics for that era 🙏🏻👌🏻.....

i played this with a friend... two player mode ruled you can make the sickest combos... interacting into special moves

That Razor Ramon Razor's edge counter was amazing

The funny thing about wrestling games is that in the game they're hitting themselves for real, while in real life, they're play acting the hits.

I wish they would come back out with a wrestling game like this. Keep the sound effects included with over exaggerated moves. I spent a fortune playing this game back in the day.

Real capture of players and their moves, this is something that was actually done because you could not render cgi characters of them in real time. This art has been lost over the decades. That is why these games were something out of the future as you were actually playing the real person, not some cgi character.

Although based on professional wrestling, WWF WrestleMania's digitized graphics and fast-paced gameplay make it more of a fighting game than a Sports/wrestling game inspired by Midway's popular Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam series.

Playing this game to find the glitches was just as fun. Also, I remember only the Undertaker having a "fatality". It was lame though, just chucks you into a coffin and then it disappears.

I can watch this all day. Bret was my favorite

if Mortal Kombat was a wrestling game.
