I found that if you playthrough road to wrestlemania and get your opponents counted out on a regular basis, not only does your partner calls you out and quits on you, but the game will punish you by giving you frequent triple threat matches through out your playthrough. This happened to me all the time as a kid. This was a cool hidden punishment mechanic I never see this mentioned anywhere.

Shoot. You're right that is a DBZ taunt. I remember showing my mom and we came to the conclusion it was martial arts related. It was right in the middle of the craze in the US and AKI being Japanese devs were probably all over it. Great DBZ gear, too!

@@beanomac3126 haha YUP. Yuke's gave us those and all the uniforms and hair, but sadly not that perfect AKI gameplay. I wish Fight Forever got the ratio right. In ring just make a carbon copy of Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, No Mercy, Def Jam Fight for NY. Then give us all that Yuke's presentation and features. Rubbing your opponent's face in ham, Times Square snowballs, Penn Station, crazy CAW ect. I still enjoy it but I need more to it. Hopefully Ultra Pro Wrestling is STACKED!

Yeah looking forward to UPW. It's probably gonna be at least two years before we get the base game with the 80's career though.

What i loved about "WWF Wrestlemania 2000 for n64" was the fact The Undertaker had his ministry of darkness theme on there, even though he doesnt have it in "n64 wwf no mercy". However having said that WWF No Mercy (N64) was also and still is one of the GOAT WWF / WWE wrestling games of all time along with Wrestlemania 2000 (N64), WWF Know Your Role 1 and 2 (PS1), WWF Attitude (N64 / PS1), WWF Warzone (PS1 / N64), WWE Shut Your Mouth (PS2) , WWE Here Comes The Pain (PS2), WWF Just Bring It (PS2) , WWE Smackdown Vs Raw (PS2), WWE Smsckdown Vs Raw 2006 (PS2) that i still play today. Just wish they would add that Stone Cold Stunner from WWF No Mercy (N64) and also from WWF Wrestlemania 2000 into the WWE 2K games in the future because that is how he hit the Stone Cold Stunner on his opponents back in WWF and to me that was and always will be a amazing, awsome , cool animation of The Stone Cold Stunner in WWF No Mercy and WWF Wrestlemania 2000. That is another reason i love playing as Stone Cold Steve Austin in WWF No Mercy story mode (also to p*** the vince mcmahon character off aswell though lol 😂).

The WWE 2K games have amazing creation. Especially wit the community creations. But they have nothing fun to do with them. Plus I hear they are punishing some top creators for using unused data.

Sorry about your friend. My friends and I would crowd in my friends room about 10 of us and we would have tournaments for hours it was so much fun.

Incorrect movesets were also featured in Smackdown 2 but for the Mean Street Posse. Each members moves have been choosen at random. In real life they all had their own finishers at the time. All of which are in the game but instead they've been given random moves. Maybe because they were added as characters late into the games development. Hard to know for sure.

😭 Yeah, the Corporation themes in general are always called out.

Mr. Socko was in WWF Attitude before this but yes this game is the first where it is equipped via a taunt. It also appears in No Mercy, Smackdown, Smackdown 2, and pretty much every future game that included Mankind. I can't remember each and every one of them for sure but it was in SVR, SVR06, SVR07, SVR08, WWE 13, and WWE 2K14. Seemed like they just made it appear on his hand during the finisher though.

They released the Corporate Ministry theme on Uncaged so that's likely why it will get you a strike now. Sadly it's done. I hear they probably canned the people behind it.

There's a glitch to make your special last longer I'd never told nobody it involves yanking your stick LOL literally as your specials blinking in about to go off and your special will come back for a couple of seconds I know you can do this in no mercy but I thought you can do it in both

Yup. Revenge, WrestleMania, and VPW 2 all had refs. I forget if VPW 64 had one. But Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 had 3 with different styles. Wrestlemania 2000 features Earl Hebner. Idk who Revenge features.

I actually loved it when they beat Al Snow and Head by using the head and shoulders shampoo. A lot people hated it for some reason but I actually thought it was clever character work. But that's all I remember them doing honestly. They never got any TV time.
