My childhood memories I was 10 years old when I first got this game. My father may he rip took me to toys r us I was so excited. I was one of the first kids in line😍. The attitude era was the best era in WWE lets argue💯

After unlocking HBK, I just saved and put the controller down. I don't ever wanna go through all that again, way too fucking hard. Like No Mercy, their unlockables could've been better imho

This & especially Bo Mercy!

The game looked so real back then.

The one time Paul Bearer came out on his own (somewhere in early 1998-ish) he was given a previous version of The Undertaker's funeral dirge as his entrance music but no 'tron... then again, it could have been difficult to re-work it in Wrestlemania 2000. Taker's music for the game could have worked too.

In WWF Attitude Paul Bearer has a different entranca music to Taker.

@@chris_t2020 That's because in Attitude, Paul Bearer used Undertaker's old "Graveyard Symphony" theme, whereas Undertaker used his 1998 pre-Ministry "Lord of Darkness" theme (the theme he used before getting the 1999 "Ministry" theme).

Came here after watching the 2000 Royal Rumble. Man wrestling was just perfect. So glad i was able to experience its glory

You'd have figured Paul Bearer would've come out to either Kane or Undertaker's theme instead of the RAW theme, honestly.

I unlocked everything even the Stone Cold Steve Austin customize WWF Smoking Skull Belt

Only thing I didn't like about wwe wrestling games back then was alot of the hidden characters weren't real wrestlers . Announcers refs managers and ho's 😂😂😂😂😂.

I need answers, I beaten Big Show for the WWF Championship on an Episode of Raw a few weeks before WrestleMania but after the match Vince McMahon came out and stripped me the title and gave it to Undertaker. After I finished WrestleMania 2000, there’s wasn’t Shawn Michaels and it just says Please Try Again. WTF just happened?

He didn't have any theme of his own at the time because he didn't really wrestle (aside from being conscripted to partner with Austin against HHH & Chyna).

Dude Love and Cactus Jack were both a pain in the as to unlock they both reverse everything you do to them in a match smh

Funny I also did 2 finishers on him. After all that shit was saved, I just put down the controller. Really wish the unlockables were better

Sucks that you couldn’t change the women’s theme song like for instance Stephanie McMahon when she was dating Test in kayfabe I’ve always had to clone her and change her theme to Test

I was an N64 kid back in the day so I'm happy with this. You guys eventually got Smackdown though so it wasn't too bad. I don't think it came out until like 2000 though.

@@TBrizzle01 SmackDown came out around 2000. I think by that time the N64 had it's life cycle starting to wind down. Now wrestling games get 1 release on mostly all consoles. I think that the entrances and videos might have been a little smoother on PlayStation and the developers would have possibly made more money on the game as people who didn't own an N64 would purchase the port.

The roster was considerably smaller, the season mode was weak if you didn't pick a main eventer (most of the time, you'd rarely get booked & would have to wait through tedious scenes of other wrestlers facing each other until all of their life bars depleted & a winner/s was declared and if you were booked, you'd have to win every match you have to progress through the mode), and the gameplay was arcade-style rather than semi-realistic simulation.

They should have put some legends as unlockables back then

@Riyadh Uddin This game used all PPV arenas from 1999. They used the title WrestleMania 2000 since that was the next one. The naming scheme is kind of like how Madden does it.

This game’s difficult ass Road to WrestleMania kinda ruined the game for me. I had to spam the same shit just to win compared to WWF SmackDown! which came out 4 months after this for the PS1 I had tons of fun with the Arcade Style gameplay. Realistic Gameplay doesn’t really translate well to Video Games

RTWM was actually pretty realistic, the lower carders were easy to best and the upper midcard/main eventers were tougher.

I just get frustrated by having like 6 matches a night because I won the other championships. I guess I could have just jobbed out to lose the garbage belts and simplify my road?

@@TBrizzle01 You should've done that. The problem was, jobbing out might've also put you down lower on the pecking order & make you work that much harder to get the top prize.

I accidentally screwed up my roster while using a GameShark to clone female wrestlers in order to unlock Dummy and Ho’s but I ended up with a messed up roster with too many copies of Dummy and Ho’s. And I don’t know how to get cloned wrestlers back. Is there any way you can reset the roster?
