This game had the most INSANE graphics, audio, and gameplay for its time. Playing this in the arcade was the best thing ever, especially with 4 players.

I do miss Elizabeth she will always be the flower of the golden era that still blooms 🥺

Anyone else remember Hulk Hogan dojng a leg drop from the top rope and a big splash from inside the ring to the outside?

Imagine in real life Hogan & Duggan beat the Megabucks with Hogan dropping the big leg off the top rope on Dibiase?🤣

Wrestlefest was the sequel released in 1991 and it was better.

I prefer this to Wrestlefest. There is more strategy to this - or at least I had the strategy all worked out. Wrestlefest just seemed to be about mashing the buttons and pumping in more money.

And if Andre does get tagged, do all your fighting out of the ring and wear him down until he tags again. Then do the same for Dibiase and try and get him counted out.

Need a physical copy, but some how make it 2player

My strategy was to pick Savage and Big Boss Man. Savage because he does flying clotheslines and Big Boss because he’s the one player that slams you when trying to do flying clotheslines. I.e. I liked playing as Savage, and I disliked versing Big Boss.

@@Alex-gw7of You just move your wrestler to the bottom ropes and he'll leave the ring. This game gives you 20 seconds out of the ring before you're counted out. But to reset it, you just move your wrestler in and out of the ring again. This is the only safe method of fighting Andre or Ted DiBiase.

Someone combined the two and made it so you can choose Hogan, Warrior, Andre, Savage and Boss Man in addition to the Dragons to beat up all the baddies in Double Dragon. There's videos of them on KZread.
