WCW/NWO Thunder was more than this. I saw player used Goldberg to do a tons of Spear and Jackhammer to opponent. And they're still kick the pin like they're Saitama.

I am surprised that the word KO did not appear when they did their Special Finishing Moves. When I am playing as The Undertaker and I am fighting Stone Cold, I always like to defeat him with by doing The Undertaker's Tombstone Piledriver on Stone Cold and then..... KO - DING DING DING! I have been doing that for years. LOL

They started the selling when Shut your mouth or Here comes the pain came.

Its good to see that graphics still looks great in a different angle cut scene when a wrestler perform a movie.

My favourite wrestling game of all time. Might be a surprise to many of you guys but I tell you why: the moves felt so smooth in this game, the finishing moves are shown without unnecessary replays and the soundtrack was great. it was the first wrestling game I've ever played and my mother used to watch wrestling in the early 90s and late 90s, so she knew all those wrestlers and she played the game with me. Her favourite wrestler was Road Dogg. It was just so funny to play this game.

You know they had fun on the animation of big valbowski lol

I never liked the 1, but it was the beginning of something revolutionary. I did love SD 2.

Good video, I always enjoy these finisher compilation videos.

I remember back then thinking how awesome the graphics and gameplay were compared to WWF Attitude. WWF Attitude was pretty awesome in its own right but the gameplay got stale when the developers used the same engine and gameplay for other wrestling games. There was also WCW Mayhem, a pretty solid WCW wrestling game.

@@DemonChildCC No. His finishers on this game were the Double Powerbomb (the retail release version of this game) & The Walls of Jericho (listed as just "The Walls" during play testing, however the character-specific version of the Elevated Boston Crab, nonetheless, remained his primary finisher in the Beta version of this game). Y2J didn't start officially finishing matches with the Lionsault (Springboard Moonsault Pin) until after his televised phantom title win against WWF Champion Triple H and his initial run as Intercontinental Champion after first beating both Chyna & Hardcore Holly to become the definitive Intercontinental Champion (since before that, he & Chyna were forced to be co-holders of the workhorse title together -- thus, switching title defenses between them -- and if the person defending the gold actually lost the title, then the other co-holder would subsequently lose their claim to it as well).

No, they didn't. Downward Spiral was his finisher at this time, not the Spear.

Look at all the no-selling. This is just too much 😂 I never had a PlayStation growing up. Was there a trick to get them to stay down?
