There is something magical about the fact that out of 40 wrestlemania this was actually only really used for just three of them and yet we all consider this to be the definitive theme. Pretty awesome.

This song was so dam epic that I even downloaded it and put it on my old Xbox 360 Arcade once and used it on the main menu in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

I tried folks the only thing I could connect to was a monitor I believe it was for the side stage.

Wish WWE wasn't so stubborn and actually releases this theme officially.

Yeah. The loop back to the beginning with the drum tri-tone is missing and that's one of the best parts (used only in Wrestlemania 6's abridged version).

They don’t own the rights to this song. It was not made by WWF or Jim Johnston rather a collaboration with Sony Music and Simon Cowell.

It always disappointed me that it was left off the Titan Years disc on the Anthology collection in favor of Linda's theme. Sorry but that was crap vs this.

Yep. I remember the cool graphic for *_Wrestlemania IX_* that showed Bret Hart and Yokozuna super-imposed on Caesar's Palace looking at each other with this music playing. Ahh...the memories.

That's awesome. Do you remember who got the better crowd reaction in the main event? I was at Wrestlemania VIII in Indianapolis when I was 11. Piper-Bret and Flair-Savage were awesome. Hogan-Sid sucked except for the Warrior's return.

Wish they still used the old event themes for the big 4.

If they use this on WrestleMania next year that WM will automatically be 10/10.

They can still have this theme during the opening. I guarantee that would give the pop they need to get the show hot right from the jump

I was eight years old and will never forget The Ultimate Challenge. Ever.

You could hear Howard Finkel doing the countdown in the Skydome as this theme was playing to get the crowd ready for when the cameras were to start rolling

This needs to be brought back.

Wrestlemania should start every year with Triple H saying to the camera “are you ready for WRRRESTLEMANIAAA?!” And then this music starts playing. Would be epic!

They were on fire WM VIII, especially for the Flair commentary. Also they were fantastic on the March to Mania 8/Hulk Hogan tribute show. Okay, they were always great, but these two shows stand out. Of course Rumble 92 was great too. Bobby was in his element as heel commentator for the Flair run.

This gives me chills…

God I miss the early 90’s!!!!!!

Absolutely. Wrestling’s golden era of the Mid 80s - Early 90s was the greatest ever. Even better then the attitude era. That era had the best roster of talent, and the fact that they kept it so kayfabe made it so great. I miss those days. Wrestling today will never compare

So many good memories. I was a little kid in Italy and some years ago I moved to the US in Stamford...and to my surprise the day after I moved I found out it’s the city of the wwe headquarters!

I've always said, if this tune didn't get you fired up for WrestleMania, nothing would. This tune IS WrestleMania, period.

This theme was also used to the lead up to WrestleMania IX. Simultaneously, the “93 and time for WrestleMania” song was used as well. Then they had the “Roman Theme” playing as they intro’d the event at Caesars Palace

I had this theme recorded into the external hard drive of my old Xbox 360 and used it on the title screen of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. And man it was a perfect fit.
