This was amazing! Great medley of two great entrance themes. You blended them together like a boss and showed that the themes actually weren't that different from each other. Bret and Shawn weren't as different from each other as they thought which is probably why they couldn't stand each other at their peak. It's a shame that they couldn't both have been in the Attitude era and make things work. Two of the best in ring workers ever.

The sound of the guitar wasnt suited for Hbk's theme. With that being said, whats the name of this sound? Did you use some reverb or something?

Dude! You crushed BOTH themes! If I had to pick only one though, even though Bret Hart is my favorite wrestler of the two, your version of Shawn Michaels' theme was the best, I really like how you handled that one.

Thank you, that means a lot! Shawn Michaels was always my favourite so there's probably a hint of bias in my version of his theme.

Great Video. Hope Shawn Michaels heard this. in an interview he stated he always felt good when he heard his theme song. you took it to another level. EXECELENT!!!!!

What's your setup like? I love your tone. I just got a stick Jackson and I'm looking for after market pickups and amplification/pedals. I want this ultra 80s metal tone you have!

My setup is pretty simple, I have my guitar running into Logic Pro X on my Mac and I use BIAS FX 2 for my guitar sound. I downloaded an 80s sound from it as a template and tweaked it to more of my liking. The pickups in my Jackson's vary from one model to another but my main guitar (the blonde natural one) has a Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck and a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. They're one of the most versatile pickup pairs there are and are great for the whole 80s sound (DiMarzio's are great for 80s as well). I do have Chorus/Delay/Reverb/Overdrive pedals (all BOSS) but I rarely use them in my videos, I only really use them when gigging.

What effects are you using on your guitar for the rhythm and the main solo part? Also, what are you using for the synths in the backing track? (Shawn Michaels Theme song) Amazing Job by the way, love it. Looking forward to cover the same, but somehow not getting the right sound.

Thank you! The effects on my guitar are from Bias FX and the synths are just the stock synths in Logic Pro X. Hope this helps?

@@KrisDiKascos Awesome! I just set up Bias FX Le on my system, and was using some slash preset. Would it be possible to share the FX chain ? I am really bad at getting the right sound.. Oh man, I wish I had a Mac now.. if possible, it would be really cool if you could share the plugin/vst names being used in logic Pro ? I can probably look at something similar. The effects chain I use is: Noisegate - 808OD Drive pedal - '92 Threadplate head - Threadplate cab - Chorus One - Deluxe Delay - Digital Reverb. Bear in mind some of the guitar sound is achieved with editing within Logic Pro X. As for the synths, they're stock Logic Pro X synths... the main one is called 'Bright Synth Strings' and the lead synth during the chorus is called '80s Starlight'. Hope this helps?

I stopped using this tone a while ago because I found that the gain was too aggressive but I believe it was just a stock guitar preset in Logic Pro X called 'Big Hair Harmonics' or something like that.

Is tuning different for Shaun and Bret 's theme song

I'm not sure if the originals were recorded in different tunings but I had no problem recording them both in standard. They are played in different keys, though... Shawn's is A and Bret's is E when recording in standard tuning.
