Angle fighting with a brace that big probably meant he had a serious injury. Maybe a tear. This guy is literally tough as nails

Perhaps comparable on raw potential from their respective strengths, but Kurt was much more dedicated to his craft. Tommy Morrison had one of the best left hooks, and arguably the best left hook, in boxing history and serious punching power with some solid boxing skills but he also had very lazy and inconsistent habits out of his love to party and a lack of stamina was a big issue for him. Still he is one of my favorite boxers to go back and watch his fights.

@@lordenvincar not gonna lie, there's plenty of olympic athletes that nobody cares about, gold medal or not. the thing about kurt is that he's that olympic athlete you *do* care about precisely because he did so much beyond just being a regular sportsmen, so there's a double-edged sword were his gold is sort of a gimmick to advance greater endeavors.

@@lordenvincar TBH, pro wrestling gave him widespread popularity, which lead to him being successfully and that gave him financial security for life, even though it also gave him debilitating addiction to painkillers. I'm sure United States is a much better place than most other countries for professional athletes, but in my country, there are some elite athletes who won several olympic medals and they now live in poverty, barely making ends meet. I respect the hard work athletes do and I enjoy watching real sports more than pro wrestling, but I can see how Kurt might put his pro wrestling career at a higher importance than his athletic career.
