I dont understand why Brock had to win the Rumble? I do like Brock but he was already set up with a feud for a claim to Romans title, and if not, he can earn the shot in the Elimination Chamber. Whoever won the Rumble should have been Lashley's opponent for Mania thus making it more unpredictable for the outcome.

Once Reigns interfered WWE championship match, the men's rumble match became too predictable.. I also liked Rousey's return.. But when I ask myself the question if Lesnar and Rousey need to win RR, my answer is no.. Both of them could just walk to the champion and ask for a championship match and I did't think anyone would mind it.. I prefer a guy like Styles, Cesaro or McIntyre and woman like Morgan, Naomi or even Sonya Devill to win these matches to get that push which would follow till WrestleMania or even further..

@@arielshiraori535 My point exactly both the champions are the one she faced last and she doesn't need to win Royal Rumble to justify her championship match especially with Becky's victory at Wrestlemania was a botched.. Rousey could easily use that for storyline purpose and challenge her.. Same can be told for Flaire as well.. She goes on and on that she is the best in the business but she never beat Rousey one on one (correct me if I am wrong).. The storylines are already there and a Rumble win doesn't need to happen to progress these stories.. Rumble and MITB victory should to be used to a wrestlers push either when they never being a main eventer or does when the wrestler needs a career shift like Austin 3:16 king of the ring moment.. Lesnar and Rousey are already big names and don't need this victory to progress their story.. That's what I am saying..

The Men's Rumble was really a regret to watch, too many jabronis that would never have a chance at actually winning, not enough feel good legend returns, no Finn Balor, and the winner should've been someone who needed it more. What a wasted chance to build a star

I love this version of Brock Lesnar but I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed he won because once he lost the title to Lashley and Roman interfered I knew he was gonna pull up to the Rumble match and win. I'm not mad because I get it, Roman and Brock are in a feud but I just wish he didn't have to win the Rumble in order for that match at Mania.

4:57 I would NOT say that the match was off because of the returns, it was because of Ronda The Ronda stuff wasn't reported until days before, and it was confirmed the day off that she was there. So the women likely had to speedrun the rehearsal and almost everyone looked lost and confused at times (like Tamina stopping nearly every elimination attempt and Rhea and Bianca forgetting certain spots). If they weren't confused they were just camping in the corner or on the apron And to counterpoint your Ronda claim, it's not that they need Ronda because it's Ronda, it's that they need Ronda because they've fumbled the bag on so many women's wrestlers that could've been major stars (Hi Rhea) because they want to keep Becky and Charlotte at the top. Now Ronda is gonna be up there too while everyone else takes a backseat like they did last time, so really it's not gonna be as beneficial as you think. They could easily build the women easily but they choose not too because they won't want them to surpass the golden girls it feels like

She only entered near the end so they should have sorted out everything before she entered plus the rumble only started making sense once she entered anyways. Especially when someone randomly gets thrown in and you pretty much have to start over since that new addition was gonna win? Doesn't matter how late she enters at that point. Anyone could tell that match was off. No it doesn't. Liv isn't up there because WWE won't let her get over that hump. Becky's the golden girl. Can't be that top star if you keep losing the big matches. Becky became the biggest star in the company and all it took was a heel turn. They can easily make someone a top star, instead they choose not to and wonder why the division sucks which leads them to bringing back people like Ronda as a desperate measure. There only reason the “golden girls” exist is because there’s a lack of women who can do what they do in the first place. WWE makes stars when they see them e.g Bianca Belair. She’s someone who had a ceiling above her in NXT until they gave her a chance to let her character and physical prowess (two VERY important things to appeal to the WWE audience) shine. She EASILY became one of the most popular women during the pandemic era when she held the title. Rhea? What else does she have besides being good in the ring. She definitely doesn’t have the character to put herself over. That’s why she feels lacklustre. THAT’S why WWE has to lean on more over stars, who GARNER REACTION. Because the girlies, besides a handful, aren’t cutting it. And Ronda has only had ONE full year in the WWE anyways, so what if she wins?

I only watched the Women's Rumble (I only enjoy women's wrestling personally), and it was heartbreaking. Eliminating returning stars like Melina and Cameron immediately, having the Bella twins eliminate Liv and Sarah, missing so many opportunities for moments and callbacks, like having a Funkadyctals reunion. I despise Charlotte and Rhonda, and it was extremely frustrating to see them in the final 2, and have Rhonda, who talked so badly about wrestling after she left, get a one way ticket to Wrestlemania when so many women never get the chance in their whole career. I'm tired of Charlotte constantly getting pushed so hard and never giving the other women anything.

No kidding, Lesnar is already established as one of the greatest athletes in history, either in wrestling and MMA. Lesnar is already multi time world champion, Royal Rumble and Moneyin the Bank winners. The man has done everything there is do in the company and has nothing left to prove. It was unnecessary for him with the Rumble. Even if WWE were Hell bent on a Roman vs. Brock match. Lesnar could have just beaten The Usos in a handicap match or qualification match or even Elimination Chamber match to challenge Reigns. But for him to win the Rumble was just 😑😑😑. WWE could have built up somebody like Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens and Big E with a Rumble victory. But they chose to go the other away around.

They have dragged the whole Heyman allegiance thing too long and I don't want either Brock or Reigns to hold a title going out of this year's WrestleMania. Lashley won the title and he has no proper feuds going on. Who the fuck is gonna challenge him? And based on what? There's no build up for anyone. And considering he won the title at 44 years of age and this being his second run, I really doubt he will drop the title to anyone at Elimination Chamber or WrestleMania. Which makes this doubly boring. And if it's Brock vs Reigns on the other hand, it's gonna be even more boring considering Brock beating Roman kind of defeats the purpose of Roman's Reign. And Reigns beating Lesnar at this point means Jackshit. Lesnar has already put Reigns over at Summerslam and we have seen this match a million times.

Finished watching Mens Royal Rumble. What a mess!! No one knew what was going on. The booking was 2015 weak. This was a big spit on all the storylines building and going on in the WWE right now. I have no problem with Lesnar winning the Rumble but at least make it interesting This looked like a Royal Rumble not on a PPV but on some house show. Here are some things that happened: - Owens and McIntyre brawled like they are rivals - Neither of the Mysterios eliminated each other. Let alone in the ring at the same time. - Neither of Rated RKO eliminated each other let alone showed any tension. - Kofi botched (not Kofi's fault, fault of the booker's who I'm sure would've told the spot 30 mins earlier with no practice) - Madcap Ross eliminated AJ fucking Styles - Austin Theory doing nothing of value. - Random roughness of the sequences - Absolutely no pause spots (Sorry, there was one. Brock Lesnar and freakin' Bad Bunny) - When a superstar enters, first half a minute is his. The moment any wrestler came out of that curtain, he had no idea who to target, which move to execute and how to respond to the crowd. *Honestly, the leaked Rumble booking was a 100 folds better* .

The Royal Rumble match was bad The elimations that pissed me off are AJ getting eliminated by Madcat Moss KO getting eliminated by Shane McMahon Randy Orton coming out at 29th and getting eliminated before Shane McMahon Big E not doing anything or elimating anyone

I am still a bit confused on how Brock got in the Rumble. He was the WWE Championship at the beginning of the show and I assumed that the entrants were known before the show so how did he get a spot. Did he know he was going to get betrayed and got his entrant number before hand or did he steal a number because I am almost positive this hasn't happened before other than the 2019 Rumble where Becky lose her title match against Asuka and had to steal Lana's number

Yeah why did he win anyway? He was gonna get the wrestlemania match vs roman anyway, we could've had aj,kevin Owen's or big e the win.

Example # 2548 of how Vince has zero faith in any of his wrestlers who aren’t well established names in the business. He doesn’t know how to make new stars anymore.

I'm calling it: it's gonna be a title for title triple threat match at WM, Brock vs Reigns vs Lashley. If it does happen, Bobby wins both titles.

Honestly the only problem with this PPV was Edge and Beth vs Miz/Maryse, and Becky vs Doudrop. They were just there

For me, I REALLY wanted Liv to win the rumble, and was disappointed as hell that Ronda won

What ever happened to the #30 entrant of the Men's royal rumble? Did Brock attack him originally? Was it supposed to be Brock all along? Does that mean he was going to participate while holding the title? Or did he just throw a hissy fit backstage after dropping the belt (keyfabe of course)

Since ending of Roman and Rollins will make rematch of Rollins and Roman and again in the same night Roman attacked Brock and Brock lost it was horrible. Brock and Bobby match was needed to be clean.

I agree that Lesnar v Lashley didn't quite deliver. Whenever I think of these two I expect a classic Wrestling match and nothing else. So that's where the finish kinda was unsettling and the rest was too predictable😐

Here's how I would've done it - Lashley wins the title, so Lesnar goes on a tear in the Elimination Chamber (something we haven't seen before), which he uses to face Reigns at Mania. Have Asuka return and win the Rumble match, face Charlotte at Mania and FINALLY get her win back... Again something we haven't seen since Charlotte beat her twice for the title. Ronda can just demand her rematch, and boom - Ronda vs Becky tells itself. As for the mens match, have either Styles, Owens or Big E win and be a credible threat to Lashley. Raw really needs some top stars and those guys can be just that. It's so simple, but as per usual WWE complicates the f*ck out of everything.

this ppv was just not good. for instance both the men, and womens royal rumble really weren't all that good. brock lesnar vs bobby lashley was such a let down. it had no dream match feel to it. it was boring, slow paced, and had a bad ending. seth rollins vs roman was good, but it also had a garbage ending that just ruined the feel of the match. this is why people don't like wwe anymore they have no clue what they're doing anymore. this ppv wasn't worth sitting down for 4 to 5 hours to watch.

Everything happened But just felt wrong... Seth should have won by cheating or Brock's interference Brock wins a tough fight & then Roman gets angry and needs to prove himself in the rumble. That would have been a better story than Brock winning it. It was meaningless without any story behind it

I havent watched WWE in few months but I always check out Royal Rumbles. I was so disapointed, this years rr match might be the worst of all time lmao it was so lame no superstars returns, kofi botch, AJ styles eliminated by "happy corbin" 😐, Brock winning again (why cant wwe just give the win to somebody young to build a new star like matt riddle). At this point WWE is digging its own grave

Ronda Rousey winning royal rumble was so disappointing. She just saw up and wins the rumble. It shows that the entire women division is so weak. For me rumble should promote underrated WWE talents from mid-cards just like Money-in-the-Bank. I mean why is Damien Priest even in the rumble, that guy already has IC championship. He should be protecting that. Feels like WWE has entirely forgotten about their secondary titles. Brock lesnar, Charlotte, or other popular names don't need to win the rumble because they are already have the spotlight. This was so predictable and extremely disappointing to the point it was frustrating to watch.

I honestly love Bobby being the WWE champion again,hope they fix their mistakes.

Dude I was watching this with my cousin and we was shockingly surprised when seth rollins came out with the shield gear

Seth Rollins stole the show alone when I heard the shield song hit I was in the other room and immediately rushed into to the other room and was so happy

The men's royal rumble was complete sh*t because there were no surprises. WWE is way to selfish to work with other promotions.

Bruh, literally the smartest thing WWE did when booking this PPV was have Brock eliminate Randy first so that he doesn’t borderline murder him like he did at SummerSlam 2016. Everything else was just...meh, alright then.😆😖

I haven't watched wrestling since Big E became WWE champion. And i decided that i would watch the rumble. I didn't know anything about the storylines, but for me the RR was amazing. Indeed i enjoyed watching it and i'm satisfied with the results. I hope that Lesnar will win the Universal title. I like how WWE built his character. I give 8/10, not 10/10 because Becky Lynch vs Doudrop - very boring match 😒.

I love both Roman and Brock at the moment, but wwe made the whole damn ppv about them at the expense of nearly everyone else on the roster. Super disappointing stuff.

Apart from the boring match between Becky Lynch and Doudrop there was also the WrestleMania logo that was melting after the fireworks

Both main title matches ended in a shit way once brock lost the title the whole mens rumble was spoiled and I went on my phone during the womens rumble

My biggest gripe with Lesnar and Rousey winning the rumble is that they don't need to win the rumble to get a title shot at Wrestlemania. They're ticket movers, they would have been given title matches regardless.The Royal Rumble match is supposed to create an opportunity for someone you wouldn't expect to become champion. The entire hype is gone when it's won by top stars that are always in the title picture already. :/

The last legit person to win the Royal Rumble was Drew Mcintyre. To hell and back he fought his way back, eliminate Brock at RR (Epic moment), wins it. Beat Brock to fulfilling his long destiny of being the Champion and top guy. Shame COVID hits and no one was there during his title reign.

I was really hoping for AJ Styles to win the rumble. He came out first and actually got the most eliminations in the match. He was looking phenomenal and would be perfect for him to win it and win the wwe title at wrestlemania but no. They had the guy who won 19 years ago just to build up another stupid match between Lesnar and Roman. I love them both but wwe focuses on them and no one else. The rumble win would have been prefect for Styles, I really hope AJ Styles goes to AEW to faces Adam Page for The AEW Championship.

I thought it was alright. The best match I think was easily Rollins vs Reigns and i didn't mind the finish. The rest of the show was ok and even when it was just ok it was still fun. The only part I hate is that Brock was in the rumble. The mens rumble was ok, it was just Brock winning that sucked.

Also Shane being booked to be in the final 3 was kinda wack. Idk I think at best he should’ve just entered at like #15 or something and get thrown out after 5 minutes

For me, I thought the Women’s RR was > the Mens RR. Lmao

Best things about the rumble were Reigns vs Seth, Johnny Knoxville and the riddle RKO. That's it, everything else was terrible with told returns, terrible finishes and crap winners of the rumbles
