You know the real tragedy? There are some good Indian wrestlers in India who don't get much global push, and I'm not talking about Jinder or Veer, but what story were they given by WWE creative? The cliche, stereotypical, half baked foreign heels who complain about America as if that is the only instruction they are given. For comedy sake they were always presented as weak or foolish. That hinders any possibility of growth. I can bet you the next time you see an Indian wrestler debuting in WWE it will start with an anti-America speech as a heel. I'll be glad if I'm proven wrong.

To be honest I'm Indian and looking at the way WWE is using Indian talent is bad. Always keeping them heel, using that repetitive USA vs India storyline (us vs them). This trio could have been impactful if they used Indus and Sher on full heel run to get tag championships.

When was the last time an Indian talent felt credible?? Indus Sher sucked, they had a bad gimmick, their in ring talent was screaming and slamming people that's all. And as for Jinder his in-ring and promo skills were mediocre at best. It's not all WWE's fault, the trio didn't connect with the crowd and they didn't have the skills to back it up either.

Jinder himself wasn't that good, he could've been a great heel but his in-ring style and moveset is mediocre at best. Jinders group really could have been a good tag team, plus Xia Li was amazing in nxt, and just failed on the main roster. They all could have worked if creative put some effort on them.

Of course this will keep happening, except folks can't blame Vince anymore. Nick Khan has the sole responsibility. It was Vince, Nick and Stephanie. Plus WWE is owned by TKO, which is owned by Endeavor, so now they have a solid budget they most hold. They had a budget always but folks wanted them to push it and Vince wouldn't. Now they really are corporate, they have a company to answer to, folks will see.

This is sad! Jinder was finally a believed part of wwe, fans finally started to appreciate him. After than whole tony khan drama, I really think they would do something with the guy. And I totally agree with you,, WWE is huge in india, even a babyface Jinder and a baby face Veer could've worked. We all liked to joke about Veer, but he was dedicated to WWE, he lost alot of wieght when he returned and finally came to raw. I hope everything would be fine for them.

@@_thethinker5557 ya. I know wwe liked to represent india via jinder, but people ain't so stupid the guy is Canadian and barely is able to connect to indians back home.. veer Maahan on the other hand was born here, speaks the language known to masses and represented the culture far more strongly...sad to see him go. Sanga has actually been in Hollywood mainstream movie, so again both veer and sanga had great potential

I see the releases of people like Dabba Kato, Shanky, Indus Sher, Von Wagner, and Xyon Quinn is HHH trying to shed off the old tropes of WWE being a place where big men usually get the top spots. I get it, he wants to put more athletic and over superstars in the top spots. But these big men looked like they had so much potential. Dabba Kato really improved his mic skills during his fued with Apollo Crews. Shanky could have thrived not as a dancing big man but as a monster character, probably like a Goatman or wendigo gimmick, Indus Sher could have been the Indian version of the wild Samoans and they could have won the tag titles. Along with. Jinder Mahal having the United States title they could have been an imposing faction. Von Wagner could have been like 911 and be portrayed as a silent but badass enforcer like character who chokeslams anyone the crowd doesn’t like. And Xyon Quinn could have been the next Brock Lesnar who tears his way through the NXT roster. I am really liking the direction HHH is taking the company. But WWE needs big men and giants to stay unique from the competition. It’s just a shame really

Jinder, Veer, and Sanga really had potential even in the new era. He can be a great top threat to Sami Zayn for the IC title. Veer and Sanga were 2 big men tag team that wasn't used but if they were used correctly, they would be interesting heels. Now what is WWE gonna do when they go back to India? No Jinder, No Veer, No Sanga.

Without any information on that, but releasing a bunch of non-us-residential wrestlers could be something to do with their visa, which had to be renewed. I remember Axel Tischer (Alexander Wolfe) talking about that, that knowing that his visa was expiring and that creative had nothing to do for him made him expect that his release is coming.

Hunter must have a plan while firing, and I think we'll see more of that with wrestlers who HHH doesn't see as someone he can build or worth keeping as roster will have wrestlers he sees good hope in and add more to it by cutting extras

Loosing a job sucks but as an Indian wrestling viewer I can't have their back right now in this case because they really didn't showed any great skills on tv. May be some more time given could've have helped. Their religio-cultural outfits in a sports entertainment genre was a bad creative and their storylines were a drought. They should have themselves pitched ideas and make it work but gave a bland appeal. Rebuild, redesign, reclaim is the best thing they can do. I hope the best for their future. Jinder is Canadian so this comment doesn't concern him

TNA please, sign Jinder Mahal before someone else snatches him and create an all Indian wrestler stable, it's a golden opportunity for a heel group to draw major heat, they would be over so quick, throw in a championship match and you got gold, please, no other company has thought about it before, it's a totally new Idea and with the right people it would skyrocket in popularity, just think of the possibilities, it's money, it's gold, it's ratings, you already have indian talent being underused, put that talent to work, jump on it, only in TNA would such a group work. Please. 🙏 🙏 🙏
