I'm french and I was in the crowd so I'm obviously biased here. I appreciate the praise and I can take criticism, I just don't understand. So if someone here is willing to explain, I will happily take it. I don't know when we made the chants "about ourselves". We chanted for every superstar that performed, even for some that weren't here (Baron Corbin we miss you ❤), we reacted to every move, we chanted for Samantha Irvin, for the commentators, for the French IWC. Hell, we even tried to deliver original stuff, inventing our own chants, doing some of them in French like they do in Montreal. And Montreal is one of the hottest crowds in the world, yet no one complains when they chant "we're awesome" or similar stuff. We didn't even do that (during the main card) while we were arguably hotter - no disrespect to my friends from Montreal, you guys rock! What else did you want from us?

Hey GreatOne, im french and i was in the crowd. I just want to answer about making the chant about ourselve, and i get why people who don't speak french or know about about French wrestling culture could think that, but every chant (except the phenomenal one ) was wrestling related, the simply 2 chant after every 2 count is a cult wrestling phrase for us, the "C'est pas gentil" wich can be translated by "It's not nice" is something that as been chanted in Indie french wrestling for a while now. But i get why you nittpick you have to be objective, i just want to explain that almost every chant had a purpose and a bakground

i agree, some people are taking the "crowd critique" WAaaayyyyyy to seriously .. i think its pointing out the difference in crowds, France has a lot of Soccer crowd built into it, so chanting/singing in seemingly "randomly" throughout the event is just what they do ... since you probably need to entertain yourself while at a soccer game lol

I get what you say about Damian, but they're building him up. The title kinda makes the guy in this case. He'll have a couple more successful defenses before he loses to Drew McIntyre or CM Punk and then he'll fight with Finn Balor and maybe go after the IC title, which is fine because it keeps him relevant. I don't remember any first title eign won via Money in the Bank, not even Edge's first reign was so memorable. Drew McIntyre, CM Punk and Seth Rollins will be fighting for the title soon and eventually Gunther too. It's the same with Cody, he faced AJ and he might do it again, but the real threats are Roman Reigns The Rock and maybe Randy Orton, Bailey's main opponent will be Charlotte when she comes back and maybe Nia before her. Becky, Liv, and Rhea will all fight, but Damage Ctrl will also have someone in the title picture. Triple H is building up angles and stories and he's gotten all his champions over eventually so far. Let's wait and see.

It’s hard to make the WHC title feel important when it is on the same show as the wwe title, which will almost always be the main event. The only shows that Seth main evented with the WHC were shows that Roman couldn’t be bothered to show up at.

Yeah that's what I was telling if they really needed to make world heavyweight feel like world title give it main event in ple over where WWE title is too happening. Early ruthless agression world heavyweight got main event a lot over WWE title even in wrestlemania and universal got main event in his first match itself at SummerSlam and then other ple including WrestleMania

@@thegameking3931 Clash at the Castle in Scotland is the best chance for the WHC to main event if Drew was challenging Damian for the title. Cody is on the poster, but I doubt he main events over a hometown Drew.

@@nycSnowman Cody is not only in poster this time they also have Bianca, jade, jey and drew in poster as well so Cody has less likely reason to main event now. Also drew McIntyre is in poster so it had one of reason to main event that ple also don't forget it's not official poster WWE will might change it after k&qotr is over and we might get drew solo poster or drew being bigger spot in poster or both drew and Damien included in poster. To have it main event they can also make it triple treat between drew vs Damien vs jey or drew vs Damien vs sheamus. Since clash at the castle is cannon ple unlike backlash and kotr than Cody need to have cannon match instead of filler. Cody vs solo will be perfect to that it solve both problem that being not main event calibre match and being cannon to Cody storyline with rock as well

The problem was bot Damien the problem is Jey. No matter how much WWE sell him as Main event jey uso or how much people fiddle with their diddle over Jey. Jey doesn't feel like a Main eventer. And the fact that he mostly only says one word being "Yeet" makes me wanna make some remarks that might come across as racist.
